Aesthetics are possibly the most subjective thing to critque in truth. For me, I think the face looks like a duck bill, the top is cartoony and cheesy with the little void mountain design, and overall it pales in comparison to the black skull that is the obsidian mind in its current form. I actually really like the current design. But I applaud your creativity in design, it seems a lot of people do like it so I would be the "odd man out" in this case. =)
