I don't know why, Omnigul is the best strike. So many engrams... Seriously though, the only reason i can't see it worth doing is if you're grinding vanguard marks. You can blitz glimmer, engrams (which equal motes and coins), and you're guaranteed a reward at the end.

I don't care if players depart immediately if they don't want to do a particular strike. Maybe it's their 3rd of the same in a row. We've all been there. What I hate is those who just sit there at the spawn point. If EVERYONE isn't moving and shooting within minute or two, I'm gone.

Too long, I did it everytime when I needed the Eris Bounty but reached rank 4 so who cares now. Also, I'll do it if I need Glimmer as there is tons of enemies but that's it.

One kept dying, I would revive him again and again, and then just disappeared, either disconnected or quit. The other one- I was mystified. He was in the room at one point, then he wasn't. A few minutes later his name was visible through the floor, so I thought maybe he disconnected and rejoined, but then it looked like he was just dicking around outside the Skywatch. And I was trying to fulfill the Request from Ikora to complete strikes without dying. So, OK, Omnigul is down to less than 1/4 health, I have an Arc weapon, I can do this solo. Screw these guys. There is just one knight standing along the back wall and Omnigul herself. So I keep stepping out, knocking her shields down, getting in a few headshots, then retreating before she can hurt me too badly. It's tedious, but I have some time. I'm whittling her health away bit by bit. I keep hoping some thralls will come out so I can kill them for green ammo drops, but they don't. Now I'm running low on ammo. Then I finally make a mistake and stay too long, my shields go down, and I die. Since I'm the only player in the Darkness Zone, it respawns me [i]and[/i] the bozo who has been screwing around waiting for me to solo the strike, so he can see what reward he will get. We both spawn at the checkpoint. And Bozo- goes to orbit. I have had enough of the whole thing, since I can't even add a mission to my bounty anymore and all the work I have done is nullified. I quit. Nobody gets anything except the engrams picked up off the floor along the way. You know who you are, douchebag. If you're reading this, I hope you had fun outside while I was doing all the work inside. Too bad I couldn't earn a legendary item [i]for you[/i] while you were doing whatever you were doing. Get bent.

I love the omnigul strike. It's hardcore action all the way along. Should have a higher probability of getting decent rewards though due to its length. It's fun playing with good players, sweeping through hordes of troops and smashing omnigul to smithereens without caring about the other enemies at the end
