Obtaining vex mythoclast without completing the entire raid
Can Vex Mythoclast be obtained just by beating Atheon checkpoint or do you have to run the entire Raid? Has anyone obtained the VM without completing the entire VoG on hard?

Can only be obtained from Atheon on hard mode.

I did, but i was checkpoint supplier and did atheon the next day, so i did technically do the entire raid

Yeah, you can get it from just doing the atheon cp. Thats what I ended up doing for the past month, because I already got all the other gear I needed from the VoG. It might seem like you get less rewards when you just do atheon, but its all rng. You have the same chance of getting it from doing the whole raid or just atheon. Good luck!

On tuesday i got it for just completing atheon and nothing else. Wr also didnt wipe which i have heard increases the drop chances

Yes. I got it the first time running the whole thing thru, again whole thing thru, and two more times just helping others at gatekeeper (doesn't drop here) and Atheon cp.
