Do you think it is cheating by people completing raids/nightfalls more than 3 times per week? Or do you see it as anyone who has the time to do it, just go for it? Honestly I don't care at all if people do that, it's a smart way to get what loot you want fast. It may seem like cheating but the amount of time it takes to finally get your character back up to 20 (5 hours or so) it balances out. If someone has enough time to do it go for. If that's how they want to play then by all means. Look at it like this, I am a big fan of final fantasy as well. Do you think that going back to previous dungeons and grinding to get your level up past what the next dungeon is going to be cheating? No, a lot of people do it, it's a way to level your characters and develop skills faster. I see deleting characters and remaking the same way as that. It's just normal loot grinding, just takes more time since you have to level to 20 again. What do you think? Leave your thoughts below!

I believe in letting people play how they want. Power-levelling characters isn't fast and exciting, so if they want to take the time to do it, by all means, play on.

I deleted my warlock last week so I could make a second titan to get the raid gear I needed to make it to 32, which I achieved after running them both through CE for the week (incidentally my hunter also got the pieces needed to make it to 32). I just remade my warlock and finished leveling it to 20 yesterday, returned its armor, and solo'd the first two parts of CE, and was able to get two pieces of armor (gauntlets and chest), which is nice because I had previously contemplated deleting my hunter to make a second warlock, but I am content now with my current setup of one character per class.

If people want to sink their time into doing this then fine, doesn't bother me. Although it has crossed my mind, only because I want to change the appearance of my Hunter, and can't in game. Add face customisation in-game Bungie!
-
I don't care. If that's how someone chooses to play, then so be it.

1 ReplyIf people want too waste their time then that's on them.
-
I don't care, but it's a hilariously useless waste of time.

2 RepliesNo it's not cheating Is it cheating to start your game over while playing cod or mass effect or any other game? No.. How is playing the game over and over and over again cheating? It's just a wast of time in my opinion if you want to spend every day playing good for you but no it's not cheating
-
What's it got to do with me if someone wants to spend every hour of every day playing destiny?
-
If people want to spend their life on destiny, fine by me. I won't be re leveling any of my toons though lol.
-
I've done 4 nightfalls and 4 raids this week:)

I think that if you're that dedicated to a game to devote a good 5 hours or so to make multiple characters, then go for it. More power to ya
-
1 ReplyIf you have time to do all that, then more power to you.

It is not cheating. If people want to spend 8 hours leveling a new character, delete subclass progress, and have to play through this games shitty story again to get an extra shot at some gear, then they earned that extra shot.
-
How long does it even take to get to 20? I did it once for each character slot slot and different class and that was more than enough for me. Would rather play ROC strikes to try and get legendaries/exotics than level a character up again just for another shot at raids or nightfall. Getting to 32 isn't a big deal to me. When the next DLC comes out all that grinding will have been a wasted effort. Each to their own I guess!

1 ReplyIf they have the time to do it then yea why the hell not, they paid for the game who am I to tell them how they must play it
-
If they want another attempt at Raid, NF, Weekly, whatever. It doesn't affect me. They must have time to kill and be very bored.
-
If they want to do that and they have the time to more power to them, I'm. It going to hate because someone has more determination than I do. Just because it's not the way you do it doesn't mean it's wrong, worry about yourself.

It's for people who have way too much time on their hands
-
No it's just time consuming

It isn't about what I, or you for that matter, agree with when judging how other people play. They're going to do what they need to do for their loot. I don't blame them for making 6 characters a week with this weak RNG system in place.
-
I agree with doing what ever the hell I want to with my game.
-
Who cares its a video game.

It's not cheating. More like boredom from nothing to do. Re-roll a character and all of a sudden you have something to do again. Now, for the ppl that do it 8 times in week, you might need to seek therapy. What am I talking about, I think I need therapy.
