Are people who go around the deathsinger Even worthy of endgame?
Pretty easy fight. Takes about three minutes to do legit, kill two witches, kill two shriekers, kill a witch, done. Fight a hundred knights and off to kill crota. Are the people going around this fight, who aren't willing to invest three minutes, worthy of raid rewards?
EDIT: know what the worst part is? People won't even tell new raiders what's going on. They aren't explaining they are cheesing they aren't explaining how to do the fight legit. Then PPL get mad that no one knows how to do it. If we aren't teaching the new guys what to do how can we be mad at them for not knowing?
Edit: If you guys put as much effort into actually raiding as you do defending your shady actions this would be a non-issue

I agree. My buddy and I 2 man this every week. It is actually really fun. Go in and get the witches. Kill them. Go in and kill the shrieker. Wait till the final witch is in her song. Go in and rocket her to death while she is stuck in her song. Get out. Kill the Knights. Seriously takes less than 3 minutes. Even Crota can be 2 manned legit pretty easily if you both have Galla.

These raids are done multiple times a week every week by some people, if there is a faster way to do it why not do it.the only people it will affect are the 6 people inside that raid. Ive done VOG legit countless times, ive also cheesed it countless times, crota will be the same. I personally dont like the crota raid and only want the drops, i prefer VOG and will go back to that once i get the drops i want from crota

Soloed that bitch on my titan last night, I stopped at crota because of time restraints. I really don't see why people go around it, the raid as a whole isn't even that bad, let alone the deathsinger.

My buddies would do the deathsinger once and then tell ourselves to get checkpoints on other characters but we always forget sand end up doing deathsingers all three times

It's an easy fight but no rewards I'm guessing is the reason people skip.

I can do it legit and usually do it once a week legit but then back that crota checkpoint I EARNED to the other 2 characters. I solo Death singer and I don't even have a Gjallarhorn. It sucks that it doesn't have a reward but it's not even that hard to do.

2 RepliesI always cheese the raid. I have my reasons, as you have your reasons for not cheesing, but I always do deathsinger legit. It's fun and takes basically nothing. Which is really the whole raid honestly. Just can't be bothered with taking the extra time to do the rest legit. :/

How are you cheating deathsinger? I've done it legit every time. If it's cheating to play the raid up to that point then grab a Crota cp from someone then I guess I'd cheat every time. Needs to be drops for doing it and then people won't "cheat".

The group I play with goes straight through her once, then everyone grabs the checkpoint for Crota on the Alts. Then the next two play throughs we finish the bridge, then go straight to Crota. It is faster that way. If there was a drop of any kind from her she would be killed every time.

Use heavy ammo synthesis take out gjallarhorn. Shoot Wizard. Dead. Shoot shreaker. Dead. Repeat. Shoot more gjallarhorn. Wait until liturgy. Use Blackhammer. Infinite crits.... dead.
