Are people who go around the deathsinger Even worthy of endgame?
Pretty easy fight. Takes about three minutes to do legit, kill two witches, kill two shriekers, kill a witch, done. Fight a hundred knights and off to kill crota. Are the people going around this fight, who aren't willing to invest three minutes, worthy of raid rewards?
EDIT: know what the worst part is? People won't even tell new raiders what's going on. They aren't explaining they are cheesing they aren't explaining how to do the fight legit. Then PPL get mad that no one knows how to do it. If we aren't teaching the new guys what to do how can we be mad at them for not knowing?
Edit: If you guys put as much effort into actually raiding as you do defending your shady actions this would be a non-issue

9 RepliesI only pass the Deathsinger as much as possible due to the lack of rewards. Other than swapping checkpoints with other characters, I was unaware of a cheese for this area.

There's a cheese to get around it? I've always done it legit. It's not difficult at all. To the people complaining about rockets. It takes 1 gjallarhorn from a level 31 to take out each shrieker. Just assign who you send in on each side. Maybe hit the final wizard 2-3x with gjallarhorn and use bullets and sticky grenades for the rest. There's tons of time. With six fireteam members, there's no "wasting" rockets on her when it literally takes 2 rockets for 3 fireteam members.

Did it with 4 people last nite. 3 hunters and a titan. 2 32 a 31 and a 30 that kept dying lol yorkie

8 RepliesEasy fight, but why waste rockets? Maybe if there was a drop from it sure, but if someone already has a Crota cp why do the pointless fight before it. Don't get me wrong, it is an easy fight, just for most people it's pointless and a waste of ammo.

4 RepliesThe deathsinger part is actually pretty easy. The reason so many people skip it is because of the lack of a loot drop. Effort + no reward = why bother

1 ReplyAnswer: No As you said, it's an easy fight, can be completed in less than 3 minutes, and I consider it a team competency check , much like the confluxes were in VoG. I'm not a hall-monitor that is going to cry like a little girl with a skinned knee if people want to cheese, but consider this... For months, everyone cheesed the Templar. Then once they were patched, a great number of folks simply could not get past templar because they never had to do it legit, and did not know how to do it legit.

1 ReplyThe fight isn't hard, it's however easier to do solo than with a group i've found. At least it's easier to solo than do with a pug where everyone just wants to run and gun and not play strategically or pay attention. Solo is only cheesing when you hold the timer until you clear everything, but i start the timer at the wizard pull every time to make it a challenge (or at least the illusion of a challenge).

I hate those people who constantly try to make other people's business their own. that guy next door who cheeses and skips ir yut, whether he plays that checkpoint or not... how does that impact you? I think you should just mind your own business on this one. if you want to beat it legit, then you go do that. hold yourself to a moral standard. not others. seriously, can you name one way in which this treachery of skipping a worthless check point affects you? I have never skipped ir yut yet. I'm usually the guy who pulls out the witch on the left side, and then I gjallarhorn the shrieker. but I never get anything for it, just a waste of ammo. and if other wanna cheese it, I frankly couldn't even care less :/ grow up. mind your own business. thanks.

Ya i took a week break, came back and my whole crew wants to cheese. I dont need any crota gear atm Its just practice for hard. If you had a fight next week, would you practice against your little sister. I mean its easier right? Plus youve totally fought a guy before so like w.e? Na ill never cheese for the same reason i play my games on the hardest difficulty, i enjoy a challenge amd it makes you better.

24 RepliesCompared to the other sections of CE, it is the hardest. Granted, it is not very hard, but it takes some more work and coordination than the other ones. All for no reward. So what is the point of doing it? Would you do Gatekeeper or Templar if it gave no rewards?

I wish theyd just make the deathsinger stage a lead in the crota instead of a seperate stage. Would make the fight more of an ordeal and a more suspenseful lead up to the final drop
