Looking for Voidwalkers (now excepting Sunsingers) with a higher k/d than mine.
Don't worry. It won't be hard. I'm not very impressive.
My Titan's control k/d is a 1.48.
I've decided to start a Warlock and I'm curious about how you guys set up your class for pvp:
-grenade?
-jump?
-Nova Bomb?
-recovery, agility, or armor?
What exotic piece of armor can you not live without?
(I'm seeing a lot of "life steal", "shatter", and "bloom". Do you agree with these? Why?)

I have a decent k/d in control. I run sunsinger with hopf (though for the setup I'm suggestin, you may want voidfang vestmens) So here goes Fusion Grenade Balanced Glide Fireborn with voidfang/Radiant Skin with hopf Flame Shield recovery and agility (armor doesn't matter much in crucible) Radiant Will Gift of the Sun Hopf let's you spam fusion grenades even more and when you're in radiance, scorch is a one hit kill. Get the damage resistance on and it'll be tough to kill you from close to mid range Voidfang with fireborn let's you respawn with both of your grenades fully charged. Plus, activating radiance when someone is nearby makes it so you can just one hit them with scorch and move on to the next kill

I have a crappy k/d because i like using nlb for fun but im a lvl 32 warlock and use vortex grenade shatter and bloom it makes everything go💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

I use vortex grenade, focused burst, vortex nova bomb(first upgrade for the bomb), surge, recovery and speed up as high as possible, annihilate, vortex mastery. I play clash, and control. This is my clash k/d, control is a 2.09.

To hold positions and choke points you want aoe powers. Use the first voidwwalker grenade and the vortex super. Your choice for vortex mastery (prolongs the effect of your aoe grenade and the vortex from your super) or bloom (enemies explode when they die, causing damage to near by enemies)

1 ReplyAre you 100% committed to Voidwalker? Personally I've run Sunsinger since reaching lvl 15. Fusion grenades, radiant skin, flame shield, gift of sun. Personally I feel like Sunsinger functions better in 6 man games, Voidwalker can do well in larger games / control. Always run Voidfang Vestments regardless of subclass. I also always have increased grenade throw distance for those fusions. For Void though I'll always run Axion Bolt (OP with Voidfang), Life Steal, Vortex and the vortex duration boost / axion improvement perk. Attribute wise I'll run the middle selection for both. Highest recovery, then agility, then armor but pretty balanced. I prefer high recovery when I use Thorn (which is always). Just personal preference really. Currently have around 1.8 k/d on Warlock.

1 ReplyMy K/D is 2.2, and i've played over 500 games aswell, listen to me. Don't use voidwalker, sunslinger beats it in every single aspect for PVP, if you're good enough, you should switch.

If your good with scouts get one headshot on whoevers near you and throw a vortex grenade. Gets them evertime. You can easily take out three people if your a quick shot. Just use voidfang and then have the enhanced axion seekers. Also if your in trouble you can throw that grenade down and 99% of the time theyre going to run from it. Chase them down and shoot them in the back lol

Max out your recovery and armor. Use the vortex super because it kills everything inside a titans bubble. Vortex grenades on control because morons will still try and capture the zone even with the grenade sitting there eating them up. Use the perk where there's added vortex

You got to be a team player and use your nova bomb wisely.

Glide as jump, main weapon is a HC/ scout. Sniper/ fusion for secondary and a LMG for heavy. I do more clash, I hate control because no one in matched with goes for objectives

1 Reply3.2kd, I'm going by clash kd cus I goofed off a ton in last iron banner so kinda ruined my control kd. Use the 3 projectiles super & no tracking plus axion bolt.

You can chain Supers almost indefinitely with it. I prefer to have Armor over Agility in PvP with a decent amount of Recovery as having enough Armor allows you to survive indirect Tripmine Grenades and normally one or two extra bullets. Once I get the Obsidian Mind I might start experimenting with the Scatter Grenade as I think it could be incredibly powerful in the right situations with Bloom.

1 ReplyI roll a good bit of armor with higher recovery and high agility that's how i roll kind of "glass cannon" if you think bout it Gernades i use scatter really nice for enemies that are sitting in a corner since they explode into mini mirvs when u throw it. And flight i usually go with the flight burst since blink can save you from fights but also can kill you very easily by falling from maps from misjudgment. And i agree with others first nova bomb since it does a huge radius and leaving a huge dot on the field. P.S. the extra abilities i use life steal now since one it can mostl definitely save your ass in a very very sticky situation since it can be the equivalent of a flame shield but surge isn't to bad, but would more then likely go with life steal. Last ability wise i go with bloom since you can kill a whole group when u just throw one gernade in there and everything just starts to explode. This is how i roll in pvp and pve since they both go so well im both i don't really have to switch anything.

I go with recovery and armor cuz I'm an offensive type. I use glide with the initial burst so I can jump my way out of a fight if it gets too rough and at the same time shoot the enemy if he's following me (the benefit of this glide is that you can go backwards and shoot at the same time unlike blink) with a nova bomb that can reach long distances.

Also, don't use the first nova bomb. Since it can last for a while, people will see and retreat (unless you're a noob) and you're most likely going to use it on one or two people
