Gjallarhorn: Fastest way to level up?
So, pretty much I just got the Gjallarhorn from the nightfall and I'm trying to upgrade it. But I don't really know a fast way to upgrade it, so all your Gjallarhorn owners any tips?

3 characters, 4 rocket telemetries and a crapton of bounties later it's maxed out. Took me 3-4 in-game hours tops.

Took me 2 days with bounties and telemetries from all 3 characters. After 500+ hours of not getting a Gjallarhorn, I get one from the first VoG chest last week. I swiftly upgraded it at Xur, and now it's 331 attack and maxed.

Do all your bounty's use it when your doing them and then use a rocket telemetry and then hand them all in do this every day rinse and repeat

Bounties from all 3 characters - [b]you'll average with the Nightfall bonus between 32,812 - 54,687 exp PER character[/b], based on how many 5000 exp bounties are available that day. With the double bounty glitch, you can max out multiple things in a single day's worth of bounties. Have Fun!

Took me about 4 days just doing daily bounties, and using it as much as possible. Find a rapid respawn place, (loot cave scenario) and use it over and over to blast those aliens, and pick up and heavy ammo that drops and keep doing it. Equip it every time you cash in bounties.

Bounties, daily heroic, then patrols. Enemy difficulty is independent of experienced earned (i.e. level 1 dreg gives as much exp as Lvl 30 dreg) and patrol missions grant bonus exp. Majors and ultras do grant additional exp, and Bungie claims repeating missions on higher difficulties grants some bonus exp, but im not convinced. Patrolling is the way to go because you get the experience along with rep, possibility of public events (even more exp and marks), and materials.

Go to other character, pick up the same bounties, do them, equip Gjallarhorn, get more XP. (Repeat if you have third character) Get Gjallarhorn maxed in 2-3 days. Edit: I saw you have a 2nd character but is under level 20. Might want to get that Hunter to level 20 so you can do this method

Kill shit & hand in bounties I just got mine this week too. I plan to get as many bounties as possible completed (but not hand them in) on both my characters. Once ive done that ill equip Ghorn to one character, hand in all the bounties, bang it in the vault, equip it to my 2nd character hand in bounties. Hopefully I that will get me to the Wolfpack perk.

3 Characters. Bounties. A telemetry activated when cashing in the bounty. It'll be maxed within 2 days. 1 day if you do all PvP and PvE bounties.

3 Replies5 Telemetries. 3 Characters. 1 Days worth of bounties. Basically do your bounties on character 1. Pop a telemetry when you turn them all in. Run out the rest of the telemetry running patrol missions or additional bounties then switch characters and repeat. You should be at the damage bubbles when done. Next day you're done.

Took me a week or so just casually using it in crucible and everything else. I put my thorn away to increase the horn. I even use ruin wings and raid leg armor and the lack of ammo has made me switch back to Thorn ( beast in both pvp and pve) but if you have heavy ammo synth (7 rounds) you'll blow anything and everything to dust

16 RepliesDo a whole bunch of bounties, do the daily, and right before you finish it use a rocket telemetry. Then turn in you bounties. Try to get as many if the 5k ones as possible. If you do it right, you can get wolf pack rounds almost unlocked in one day on one character.

1 ReplyWhen our comes buy the rocket xp booster if he has it. Then do bounties. Save them up until you completed a bunch then use the booster right before you turn them all in.

1x rocket telemetry 1x radiant light buff 10 completed bounties (5k XP ones if possible) Activate telemetry then turn in bounties and do so on all 3 chars, almost instant maxed Gjallahorn!

Like the guy said bounties and if you're lucky enough and stocked up on rocket launcher telemetrys use that before u turn in your bounties preferably all 10 bounties at once u don't wanted to waste time on the buff
