Something that has to be said.

So, I can't be the only one to notice this. I have been playing bungie's games a LONG time. And I enjoy almost all of them, Destiny included despite the false advertising and vestigial story. I have to say the sheer ambiance is fantastic and the guy who picked colors of things mist go to the same color store as I do because we share a love of rich coffee shop color palates. But there is one thing that I genuinely applaud, for all the wrong/ right reasons. If there was one thing that frustrated me beyond measure all my teenaged years, it was the halo rocket launcher. Chatting up girls? No problem. Graduating college? Easy. Trying to maintain a decent k/d when every 9 year old who for some inexplicable reason has a southern draw every time can always race you to the instant win button? Hard. Very hard. But with halo in the past (or slowly becoming mass effect which is in turn becoming elder scrolls in some weird cycle. Holding out on Bethesda coming out with capture the horse.) I thought the rocket launcher trouble was far behind me. But no. God no. And I actually while getting hit by an entities team wielding this item I stopped, stood up, and realized something grand. The rocket launcher is ousted. At least you could blow yourself up with stupidity with the rocket. At least you got 2 to 4 shots then had to suffer failure until it respawned. But no. This new menace was bigger, harder and believe it or not requires even less skill to use than the rocket launcher. That is the Destiny fusion rifle, in particular the vex mythoclast. Normal fusion rifles are some of the only one hit kills in multiplayer and one can argue that they take about the same amount of skill as a shotgun (they don't ) but just have significantly better range, ammo, and they need to charge up a little bit which just gives you time to aim. Occasionally you will get shot before you can shoot it, but sometimes I also find money in my pants after I was them, usually not. But that mythoclast takes the one potential disadvantage it could have and goes "lolno." So, hats off to you. And I'm only half speaking with tongue and cheek. I assure you that I actually sat back and went "damn... They actually did it" It REALLY must have taken some doing to go "I can make a cheesier gun" and wow, it actually happened. I might even go as far as to say, is there a zenith? Will the next game have a gun that forgoes aiming and trigger pulling? Because short of that, I cannot possibly think of where to go from there. +1 to that So, now that that is established, anyone else reading know of any strategies other than using a fusion rifle. I have preudin's fire and that gun makes me sick to use its so sailboat. So I won't. But seriously what is your strategy to avoid the nooblet gauntlet of fusion rifles, share your dark lightning dodging secrets and assist me of this curse darker than whoever is tasked with cleaning up hive poop.
