Best DLC Vanguard Weapon?
I got to 150 marks and need a new weapon but none of the the new vanguard weapons for purchase are that great! Anybody have options on what weapon to get?

2 RepliesUp For Anything has Persistence and Rangefinder, and I believe Hammer Forged. Its base stability seems pretty good. Out of all the Vanguard primaries, this struck me as the only one that is "good" with the Vendor perks. All the other perk combos seemed lacking, to me, which is not to say that an RNG dropped version wouldn't be better. Vanguard weapons overall seem really poor to me. For some reason, the Crucible ones seem to be where it's at since DLC dropped.

2 RepliesARs are both high ROF, low impact; PRs are PRs (Coiled Hiss may be interesting), HC is a 5-round waste, shotty is meh, LMG has a shorter belt than Kate Moss. Trolley Problem and LDR are both cool, but I got random drop versions with way better stats & perks than the vendor versions (6-shot LDR with void damage - mmmmmm). I'd be leaning towards the scouts.

Up for anything is a nice balance between high impact / lower rof and high rof / low impact.

Badger CCL has the best impact out of any of the vendor scout rifles. Up For Anything has just enough impact to stop it from feeling overly weak, unlike the Payback SOS, and has some nice perks.

6 RepliesAnother NitC has a great stat block but I don't recall how good the upgrades are on the storebought one. I got mine as a drop, with Firefly, so that's why I love it so. Can't go wrong with Badger either. PLUG ONE.1 is good and LDR 5001 is excellent. But the best weapon they have is the Secret Handshake. Field Choke, Hammer Forged, Shot Package. You're welcome.

8 RepliesLDR 5001, i have a maxed one that i use all the time, does the same damage as ice breaker. I got luck and got fire fly and surplus but i think the perks on it arent that bad and if you need to spend the marks then its definitely worthwhile, everything else is pretty garbage

3 RepliesLDR 5001 and PLUG 1 are pretty awesome, I did get the auto rifle but I already had the crucible ar "for the people" levelled which I love. Depends what you like,hopefully this helps. Thanks for the good post, too much garbage on this forum. LDR shoots through walls and does close to the amount of damage that icebreaker does. PLUG1 is a beast, fast charge and heavy impact. Way better than Murmur,amazing for multi kills. Hope this helps.

12 RepliesBadger CCL hands down. Only Marksman Class Scout Rifle currently on the market. Three head shots in Crucible to drop a body. Gives Hive a concussion like nothing other.

Another NitC is a fast-firing very good scout. Mine is at 331 now and my main weapon of choice on harder content. Badger is slower and hits hard. I'd say first for PvE and second for PvP. Vanguard does not have any other decent primaries. Secret Handshake is a decent shotgun to replace Found Verdict for Iron Banner. TFWPKY and Satierenne Rapier are definitely worth considering, but these are both Crucible.

4 RepliesAre you using for pve or pvp? For PvP, vanquisher is better than up for anything. Pve though, up for anything is better. Badger ccl works for both pve and pvp
