why kill Crota legit?
Why study for a test? It's much easier and more efficient to just bring a cheat sheet.
Why get a job and save your money to buy a car? It's much easier and more efficient to just steal one.
Why go through the trouble of fixing a broken marriage? It's much easier and more efficient to just shoot the b!tch and find a hot young girlfriend.
Why kill Crota legit? It's much easier and more efficient to just manipulate the net-code and cheat the system.

Edit: some people seem to be replying based on the title and not the description, and don't realize that the purpose of this post is to mock cheeseing and any who defend it.

Why in all honesty would I spend time doing it "legit"? A level 27 can start the raid, jump in. And go get an UPGRADED ICEBREAKER from the first chest, yet my fireteam busts ass legit through the entire raid and I get rewarded with 2 shards? Does that feel right to you? The end raid boss. Gives me trash. You are out of your mind if you think I'm going to take longer killing him for 2 shards instead of just hitting quit on the dashboard. "Network manipulation" lmao. Hitting quit on the Xbox live dashboard is network manipulation? Get over yourself kid. You don't work for bungie. What we do effect your gaming experience ZERO WAYS. You're just upset and crying because now all your weapons are useless because everyone has them? Dude. 3 months from now EVERYONES WEAPONS ARE USELSS WITH HOUSE OF WOLVES DLC. Stop crying please. It's so pathetic. I leave you with this fun fact. If Bungie cared. And I mean really cared. Do you think they would take a 3 week Christmas break and just let these cheeses keep happening? THEY. DONT. CARE. Eventually they will be fixed. But their lack of testing and commitment to their own game is pathetic. Yes no game is perfect, and all of them have flaws of some point. But a cheese in every part of the raid? It's sad really. PS: I have all the non primary raid weapons. And the raid helmet. And I'm level 32. You mad bro?

3 RepliesReal life applications like yest taking and marriage problems can't be compared to a fictional boss fight. Why does cheering a game bother you so much? It don't really directly affect you, it's just easier to let the cheesers cheese and deal with the consequences (eventual fix and then scramble to actually learn) and go about your own business.

8 RepliesMy friends and I complete this raid in 20 minutes, without cheesing it. There is no excuse that it is "easier" or "faster" because it's not. If you have to cheese it's because you are GARBAGE. This raid is a joke, can't wait till they fix all the glitches so all you cheese scrubs can't get the primarys.

TBH, I've had an easier time doing the Crota fight legit than trying to cheese it. First run through my team did it entirely legit. It took us about half an hour. Second run through my team decides to cheese it, and after an hour three guys got frustrated and left, so everyone else left. Went to r/fireteams to find a group to kill Crota legit, and we get it done in 15 minutes, with only two wipes.
