why kill Crota legit?
Why study for a test? It's much easier and more efficient to just bring a cheat sheet.
Why get a job and save your money to buy a car? It's much easier and more efficient to just steal one.
Why go through the trouble of fixing a broken marriage? It's much easier and more efficient to just shoot the b!tch and find a hot young girlfriend.
Why kill Crota legit? It's much easier and more efficient to just manipulate the net-code and cheat the system.

Edit: some people seem to be replying based on the title and not the description, and don't realize that the purpose of this post is to mock cheeseing and any who defend it.

Humans always make things easier it's what we do for obvious logical & good reasons. If the loot system wasn't broken people would do it legit, my proof is right now people hate cheating crota because Crota is actually fun. You'd make a great activision employee though focusing on fixing the cheat rather then what caused people to cheat in the first place to force players to waste hours into the game without properly rewarding them for they're time to make them put in even more hours. Now if you want to tie this to real life - cheaters are at the top if you happen to have forgotten & people allowed it to be so. The type of cheater varies which can be a good or bad thing. Now to tie these 2 separate yet not separate things in: this problem is what's causing the greedy corruption of the video game industry. A balance must be found to solve this problem not too much bad & perhaps not too much good. Tried to go as deep yet understandable in as few words as possible.

They all laughed at me and said no. I ended up talking a bit more and persuaded them to do it legit as it's a lot more fun that way, and eventually they all agreed to do so. So as we got to Crota, being the Titan with Ruin Wings and a Gjallarhorn I was on Crota's Shield Duty while another 32 took the sword and we killed him in 2 swords, the response was; "That was faster and more fun than cheesing!" ¬.¬

very hard to find group on forum that doesnt want to cheese which limits players with not much time forcing them to cheese just to have raid completed for the reset

All real life circumstances that are not even relatable. If you want to cheese go ahead and cheese. If you want to do it legit go ahead and do it legit. When you do it the legit way, the game unlocks the ability to come back to the forums and condescend the people that cheese it. Which is kind of neat I guess.

I get it. I'm not against cheesing crota. To each their own. But I think it's so much easier and time efficient to just shoot and slay the -blam!-er. Have a decent squad and you'll kill him in one two runs easy

I feel like the last fight in this raid is easier to do if you have a 32 slice and dice him. Much faster and no need to worry if whether or not the cheese will fail.

Have killed crota with 1 sword (2 times down on his knees like your mom last night) with a lvl 32 and a team of 4. Crota raid is the easiest raid ever.

Both ways are Extremly easy but maybe run regular raid on first character then just cheese it on the last two. The raid is quick as hell regardless I understood the vog cheese because that raid can take forever depending on the ft
