Ogres and hydras
Where are the easiest places to farm hydras and ogres? Separately of course.
Answer: shrine of Oryx, and outside the portal to the black garden on mars.

3 RepliesWhy would you even need to farm those? But for locations - Ogres - The worlds grave mission has 1, Phogoth strike has 2(one normal ogre and Phogoth himself). Then theres "Telthor" the ogre in the mission that you find the shard of the traveler, an ogre also has a chance of spawning in the Skywatch under the rusted helicopters, the Omnigul strike has one as well. Then the warmind mission has 2 or 3 Hydras - Archon priest strike has about 3 or 4 that spawn fairly early in (assuming you kill the other enemies fast enough) and then it has 2 more right before the boss. The gate lord mission has one, the "Undying mind" strike has 4 (3 and then the boss himself). Hope this helped :P

Best places: Ogre: Shrine of Oryx hallway checkpoint. Hydra: Black Garden checkpoint before chamber where ghost must be used twice. These are the absolute fastest farming spots, especially with a reliable way to kill yourself and Icebreaker. Speaking from experience.

1 ReplyDon't you get endless ogres once you hit Enrage during Crota? You could possibly hang out in the room below the crystal.

3 RepliesDo what the guy below me said for Ogres For Hydras boot up the last mission, When you enter the area where you have to activate the 2 doors/portals there will be a Hydra in the bottom right. Kill it then stand on it's exploding body and kill yourself, repeat as desired, It's way faster that the mars patrols bullshit one

Over 1000 hrs. Never farmed. Have almost 100 kills on both. Just to give u an idea

1 Replyyou probably want those for the bonus/grimoire? A lot of the ones seem to not count. I think the ogres on moon patrols count. The one right inside temple of Crota, and there's a second one sometimes in the room to the left after the spiral staircase from the archer's line entrance. I think there's another one that has a chance to spawn on the way to the world's grave. Another spawns near the end of the shrines of oryx mission. As for Hydras, there's one halfway through the eye of a gatelord mission. Another one is halfway through the black garden mission. The one that spawns at the vex gate on mars patrol should work too.

4 RepliesI was curious why you wanted this at first but now I understand. Archon priest has 3 Hydras. I don't know about ogres though. Phogoth has one, besides biggen. If you cheese the raid you can get three.
