Within the first week of buying this game, I dived straight into my "destiny" as a warlock. As I continue playing I am reminded in symbolism of secret societies at least once a day through grinding out those bounties. Does anyone else recognize them? It kind of trips me out.
In this game we are guardians(angels), brought to life by light. "Luciferous" as defined by any dictionary will tell you that it is the provider/bringer of light. And though I am not religious myself, occult societies are bathed in satanic rituals and beliefs. Trippy shit, to say the least
This is only 1 of my connections. Any one else picking up what I'm putting down????!

I have been thinking about this more and more. Destiny 2 is filled with demonic symbols and references. I have begun to view my tv and xbox as a demonic altar. It is an open portal and a way to commune with evil forces.

Edited by Da777ath: 11/6/2015 6:22:10 AMJust because there is esoteric symbolism in something doesn't mean it's "Satanic" in nature. Furthermore what IS considered Satanic? What does Satanic really mean? There are many forms you should read up on them. Yes, I have noticed the symbolism in the game and the luciferian style archetype of the guardians and what not.

This game, along with many other sci-fi/fantasy settings, use geometric glyphs and symbols, because they're easy to design, and they instill a sense of the alien and unknown. Now do they have any intended sinister meaning/function/whatever outside of the game? Nah.

1 ReplyExpect future games to be the same borderlands 2 had stuff like this also

1 ReplyThese are also the themes of most sci-fi/fantasy stories. Archaic themes are always present throughout all genres.

1 ReplyI don't really "believe" those theories at all. But,.... the symbols are friggin everywhere, and in just about everything, so as a skeptic I will back anyone up that says that a least lol.
last year's superbowl postgame show, as the camera panned out one of the announcers flashes a triangle in from if his eye and held it there for a bit. Right at the end, dunno if it's on youtube or anything but I saw it while it aired.
