Weapon of choice for thrall maze?
Also list which particular gun you like to use
Edit: Good feedback so far! Surprised that shotguns are so low. I guess they still suck even in the closest combat situations!
Edit: Almost a thousand replies! Hearing lots of fatebringers, mythoclasts, icebreakers, and bad jujus with obsidian mind.

Everyone uses Fatebringer and since i've gotten mine recently I use it to. While it is good, it is not better then the Icebreaker. If you have the "icebreaker" perk unlocked that is.. This is a basically like firefly, but with a huge difference to get the explosion you only need to get a kill not a headshot. This allows for quick shots to be fired of into a group that is either to close to line up a headshot or to far to waste your time lining it up. I've saved myself and friends with it so many times, meany of which had the Fatebringer. Now that I have both I use both. But the Icebreaker is my group clearing weapon and the fatebringer is for path clearing or if I have time for the shot. Not to mention its convenient to have the Icebreaker for the Ogre(s) at the end.

Fatebringer precision shots are great while sitting at at lamp posts. I keep an icebreaker for knights and ogres. I generally run ahead of everyone just shy of activating the lamp post. Then I turn around and mow all the thralls down with a machine gun.

Don't use any weapons since I got the Don't Touch Me gauntlets from Xur. Just stroll through invisible for most of it, without a care in the world. Icebreaker or Hunger of Crota for the Ogre.

Fate bringer all the way, FireFly with explosive rounds and precision quick reload(dont remember perk name) couple with the stability hunter perk and chain of woe....just woah bro. this gun takes down those groups of thrawl like its nothing.

Fatebringer is number one for thrall extermination, and for the ogres, and ice breaker.

1 ReplyI like using the Vex Mythoclast in it for sure. I would probably use the Fatebringer at primary for its Firefly ability, then use the Ice Breaker as my secondary for quickscopes/noscopes of flaming destruction (Ice Breaker special perk= firefly on steroids+no headshot requirement), but alas I can not seem to get my hands on a Fatebringer. But oh well, Mythoclast= Thrall slaughter anyways :)
