Is Mida Multi-Tool worth keeping?

1 ReplyHell yes That gun is a great all purpose gun. It staggers most any enemy, has an active radar, fires so smooth for easy strings of headshots, sounds amazing and when equipped gives a great boost to agility which is really good in pvp and things like the vog jump puzzle and gorgon maze. Level it and try it, I think you'll like it

1 ReplyI don't have it but I wants. Badly. My all time favorite exotics are 1) the last word and a close 2) infective. Icebreaker is pretty sweet, tho.

5 RepliesFatebringer (legendary), Thorn, Vex... Exotic primary pecking order That's about it, MIDA is decent but the new legendaries from factions outclass it with ease. Also Vision of Confluence is waaayyyyyy better even at only 300 damage.

Ask yourself, do I want to fly around like pixie? Run faster than all my allies? Escape lots of enemies quicker than anyone else could? If you answered yes to any of these then keep it, love it and cherish it.

Strike speed-run set up: Bladedancer with Max agility + Fleet Footed 331 MIDA with Lightweight 331 Black Hammer 331 Hunger of Crota Keep the MIDA, you move ridiculously quickly with it. PS, Phogoth is a joke with this setup.

Absolutely, I still have the pre DLC version fully maxed and it's still extremely useful. Radar is extremely handy tied to the larger magazine. Hair trigger perk makes no noticable difference but this gun is great.

Yeah hold on to it. Hair trigger is great for PvP firing quickly. Pve as well, for that matter.

2 RepliesMida Multitool is great, I love mine. Knock back keeps enemies at a distance and the fire rate is wonderful with almost no kickback

1 ReplyIt's a better than average exotic primary. I would suggest against smashing it (or any exotic, for that matter) as the shard is far less rare/valuable.

Mida and the last word are my PVP go to weapons. Fast and accurate. Don't leave home without them :)

1 ReplyAs the first exotic I ever got and the first one to get the 2.0 version of: the multi tool has been in my inventory since I got it and seeing how tou're considering getting rid of it, let me give you some pros n' cons Pros Draws fast Aims fast Reloads fast Makes yah move fast Scope looks fantastic ROF is perfect for its recoil Range is perfect for its recoil Has great flinch effect on target (guardian or otherwise) Great magazine size Top 3 best looking exotic easy Cons Doesnt 1HK enemies Level 26 and up Hair trigger is pointless until you use it for 4000 kills and begin to notice it. Cant find anything that doesnt end up comparing it (or any other weapon) to hand cannons beyond this point Its a great weapon for mat farming and general patrolling but is also fantastic in pvp. Theres no other gun quite like it in terms of feel- I find it indespensible.

2 RepliesDeceptively effective. Even if you can't see a use right now, hang on to it and slowly work on upgrades. You'll be surprised how useful it can be.

1 ReplyMida is the best scout rifle IMO. The only time it is out classed by VOC is if a solar burn modifier is in play for a nightfall. In which case I would rather bust out the Vex. I think it's biggest drawback in raids or strikes is that most people would rather not use up their exotic slot for a primary weapon. That doesn't typically bother me much because it only takes a couple of seconds to switch out weapons for Icebreak or something.

6 RepliesIt is gathering dust in my vault, why waste an exotic slot when you have the voc which does solar damage? Sure it has a high fire rate and increased agility, but i would rather use my ice breaker or ghally anyday!

1 ReplyYeah, it's a great weapon overall. It doesn't do any one thing spectacularly, but loads of stuff really well. Perfect for a scout rifle build.
