Before I get bashed on let me say this. I don't care how anyone plays as long as it isn't manipulating your system or servers. Now back on point I think bungie should implement a cool down on character deletion. For example you delete w character you can't delete another one for 7 days. Thus stopping those people who think they need to make 10 characters a week to get what they want. If you can't handle the grind then by all means play something else. I remember when they patched Atheon and everyone was like I can't find a team to beat him now thanks bungie. Well that means your not trying hard enough or you suck. I know my initial post has to do with RnG I'm just stating what people would be like if this was implemented.
