Anything wireless experiences signal lag. Its just part of how wireless technology works. Wired signal transfer will always be faster. So for those of us who play twitch games a wired controller us always preferred. Destiny is pretty good about not making signal lag as noticeable because of just how slow paced the gameplay actually is, but I still notice a bit. Its made even more apparent if you are also playing on an HDTV with an HDMI cord. HDMI has the worst signal lag and LED-HDTVs such as the one I currently have are horrendously bad. Thankfully I also have a plasma wired via RGB as well, so I can choose that setup if I'm playing a twitch game.
