why so many solar weapons?
just like the title say why are there so many solar weapons as compared to arc and void?
I hope the crotas end scout rifle is arc...

Edited by ezbeats1: 1/6/2015 3:23:49 AMIf it's like the VOG pattern it's cause a majority of hive are solar. And necro exotic being arc will show next raid to be arc based. Like the vex was solar. I think that's the pattern they use.

12 RepliesMy guess would be due to the fact that 2 races of enemies in the game currently have solar shields in majority (hive and cabal) whereas only one race has arc shields in majority (fallen) and one race has void in majority (vex). Just a guess.

I cant tell if it is true or not, if it is bad luck or not, but looking at MY inventory and vault, I see about half of them dealing solar damage.. Look at the exotic bounties: Pocket infinity solar Super good advice solar Invective solar Thorn kinetic Bad juju kinetic 3 of 5 solar, none arc/void. I have 6 different legendary/exotic solar fusion rifles, 2 arc and none void (only blues....)

I believe it is to make up for the only 1 exotic weapon. Blackhammer is to replace icebreaker if you use the ghorn. And hunger of crota is to replace ghorn if u use icebreaker.

6 RepliesI was thinking the same thing. Dragons breath, hunger of Crota and black hammer should have been arc. At least one of them should have been. There is a lack of void weapons in the game... Hopefully the next raids will add

9 RepliesNecrocasm will be arc , light of abyss is arc , song of ir your is arc , sword breaker is void. Void handcannon, arc pulse rifle and a solar auto rifle too.
