What Hand Cannon do you use?
I'm about to buy a hand cannon which hand cannons do you guys use. I heard The Devil You Don't was pretty good.

TDYD from the vender is lousy. The perks aren't the best

Thorn on my Warlock and The Chance on my Hunter. The Chance is pretty decent, especially the one that dropped for me. Explosive rounds, man.

Thorn most of the time Once I get a 331 Timur's Lash I will be using it also since it has a very high impact. Hopefully I will get a nice re-roll with motes

If you can hit head shots consistently use regulator mk 56 since it does 95 precision damage and has send it perk

I wish I could use Thorn with my Baller Horn but I'm stuck with the devil you don't until I get my fatebringer

I'd prefer the tfwpky 1969 just because it was more utility wise. It's not bad for PvP and it shines in pve as clearer and ammo hog. The devil you don't know works better in pvp when killing a single target faster is a higher priority. Hawk moon and thorn also work very well for everything. I would argue thorn is a little better for crota raid.

If you are serious about a hand cannon....You have a 31 and a 28. Run the VoG hard mode up to the Templar twice a week and wait for the Fatebringer to drop. Any other hand cannon is just a place holder until you get that one. Trust me. Once you have FB you'll rarely every use another primary weapon if you are truly a hand cannon person.

Fatebringer. The Devil You Don't. Red Hand IX. (old new monarchy cannon) The new crucible hand cannon is really good as well.

2 RepliesTFWPKY 1969 is probably the best one you can buy at the moment. Grinding my way to Crucible Rank 3 in order to do so. I would take it over the FWC hand cannon due to it's limited range. The Devil You [b]Know[/b] was an excellent hand cannon. The 5 round capacity of TDYD makes it a definite pass.

I just recently started using hand cannons, but I use Thorn. I got Fatebringer a long time ago, dismantled it when I was getting my thorn. Didnt realize how amazing it was, it still bugs me when I see someone with it lol

2 RepliesDon't buy The Devil You Don't unless it has Field Scout. That 5 round magazine is atrocious. I use Fatebringer, Thorn, The Last Word, and The Devil You Know.

If you looking to buy a hand cannon buy the Chance from fwc... who told you the devil you dont was good ? most people that use hand cannons tell you not to buy it.

2 RepliesSurprisingly enough, i use the Maverick (im lvl 24 right now) and it still goes strong in both PvE and PvP. Im not that good of a player btw. Im really hoping to get the last word though.
