Destiny Custom Weapons - Fan Artists Welcome!

Hey everyone, You won't know this but I'm a graphic designer and 3d modelller. I wondered if you'd all be interested in trying something fun? [b]If you have weapon ideas, post them here with a sketch or without and I'll pick one a week to model and render out.[/b] You could use this format if you want to, I've left out things like Stability and Impact but feel free to embellish it and make it your own, along with names of sights it uses, materials needed to upgrade etc... [b]Weapon Tier: Exotic/Legendary/Rare/Common/Uncommon (Or make up your own!) Damage type: Arc/Solar/Void (Or make up your own!) Weapon Name: Weapon Type: Tagline: Major Perk 1: Major Perk 2: First Tier perk (If applicable) e.g. "This weapon can be equipped in the primary slot" or "This weapon can be fired in full auto mode"[/b] Here's an example from me: Weapon Tier: Legendary Damage type: Kinetic Weapon Name: Last Horse On The Sand Weapon Type: Auto-Rifle Tagline: "Without a rider, he still found his way home" Major Perk 1: Precision kills with this weapon grant bonus reserve ammo to you and those of your fireteam Major Perk 2: This weapon has increased stability Options: Perfect Balance/ Oversized Rounds/ Field Scout First Tier perk: N/A Looking forward to seeing your ideas!

  • Weapon tier: Exotic Damage type: Arc Name: Seeker Tag-line: "...If you don't know what you're looking for you'll never find it..." Perk 1: tripod Perk 2 column: heavy payload Speed reload Increased velocity Exotic Perk: The Seeker- this launcher can track multiple targets and fires all the rockets at once. If no additional target is selected all 3 rockets will be fired at the same target.

    • Exotic Cosmic(All elements combined) 'the OP' Hand cannon-scout rifle hybrid Maxed out reload and impact only 1 in the mag and increases reload speed while mag is empty Sights are scout rifle scope more range increased recoil and hand cannon scope decrased range decreased recoil Perks are final round and luck in the chamber.So its basically a portable golden gun.

RoF: Same as Black Hammer Impact: Same as Black Hammer Range: Full bar Stability: 75% bar, full with perfect balance Reload: 30%, can be 60% with flared magwell Mag: 4, 6 with field scout Perks unlocked by default: -Void Damage -Never Stop Going: This weapon has infinite range and the sight's zoom can be adjusted with the d-pad First Perk: Third Eye Perk Tree: -Flared Magwell -Perfect Balance -Field Scout Exotic Perk: No Brakes: this weapon does more damage the further away the target is from the wielder (reverse damage drop off) Damage buff range: Closest range: headshots hit as hard as Praedyth's Revenge body shots Longest range: Body shots hit as hard as a Black Hammer headshot with Final Round and Luck in the Chamber on one bullet. This would only be in wide open areas, like sniping the walker in the House of Devils strike, sniping across the bridge, and cross-map shots on Bastion and First Light Special thanks to Cmdr X27 for the name, description, and exotic perk name. If someone could draw/model this, that would be amazing. It would look like a black and purple sniper straight out of Tron Legacy

        [b][u]The Trespasser[/u][/b] [u]exotic sniper - void damage[/u] Obtained - RNG drop Perk 1 - The odds One bullet in the clip ignores enemies shields completely Perk 2 - Fury Rounds These extreme high caliber rounds can shoot through cabal shields, hive knight darkness barriers and hobgoblin armour lock. [b][u]The Will of Oyrx[/u][/b] [u]exotic RPG - void damage[/u] Obtained - drops from Oyrx on hardmode Perk 1 - Void darts Upon detonation this RPG releases tracking void darts. (Similar to a Shrieker attack) Perk 2 - Void apocalypse killing 3 or more enemies with a single rocket will result in Shrieker death orbs spawning, attacking nearby targets. [b][u]Oyrx's Perception[/u][/b] [u]Exotic Hand Cannon - Solar[/u] Obtained - Drops from Oyrx on hardmode Perk 1 - Firefly We all know what this does. Perk 2 - Vampire Killing an enemy with 1 bullet to the head will regen some of your health. [b][u]The Scorch Cannon[/u][/b] [u]Exotic RPG - Solar[/u] Obtained - Elder Cypher Perk 1 - Tripod This RPG can hold 3 rockets in the tube Perk 2 - Sticky Rockets These rockets can be fired at enemies and surfaces and will stick to them. Once you let go of RT/R2 the rocket will explode.

        • Name: amalgamation Description: hit em with the old switcharoo Exotic Tier one consists of three perks which allow you to switch between pulse, auto, and scout rifle mode. Scout rifle has the stats of gheleons demise, the iron banner scout. The auto rifle has a lower rof and higher impact than the regular legendaries, but everything else is average for a legendary ar. The pulse rifle has the stats of spare change. Exotic perk: switcharoo. Every clip randomly selects between luck in the chamber, firefly, explosive rounds, final round, and crowd control. There is also a chance to get krits without a headshot This gun is the stock of a scout rifle welded to the main body of an auto rifle welded to the barrel of a pulse rifle. It looks sloppy but stable, and the colors are mismatched.

              The Exorcist [i]"Always fear the Taken. Except when you wield this weapon."-Anonymous[/i] Exotic Hand Cannon Dark Damage (Works against any shield. Counts as a rainbow burn. Damage numbers against shields show as black.) 1st Tier Perk: Darkness Siphon- This weapon deals bonus damage to Majors and Ultras Major Perk 1: Triple Tap- Rapidly landing 3 precision shots returns one to the nagazine. Exotic Perk: Exorcism- This weapon deals moderate bonus damage to Taken enemies. Landing a precision shot on a Taken enemy has a small chance to return the enemy to normal. Aesthetics: A simple, black hand cannon. Silver five-point stars are carved on the side of the gun, over the barrel, hammer, and handle. A pentagram is carved on the clip, where Thorn's glyph is. Shots fired from the weapon make a faint ringing noise. The bullets glow white, and enemies struck by them, player or NPC, shimmer for a fraction of a second.

              • Weapon tier: Exotic Damage type: Void Weapon name: Bottomless void Weapon type: Fusion rifle Tagline: The cryptarchs discourage guardians to ever come near this abomination. It uses technology only ever seen before in the shrine of oryx. Barrel/sight/whatever: Aggessive ballistics, field choke, accurised ballistics Major perk 1: [b]Void Mastery[/b] - This weapon has increased stability and charge rate. It also has the perk [b]Hidden hand[/b]. Options: Field scout, speed reload, hammer forged Major perk 2: [b]upgraded fusiondrives[/b] - This weapon has increased reload speed, fire rate and it's shots travel significantly faster and further. First tier perk 1: [b]bottomless void[/b] - This weapons shots arch and track it's enemies and can chain to multiple targets. First tier perk 2: This weapon can be fired in full auto mode. aesthetics: It's form is pretty similar to a normal fusion rifle, with some differences. It's front is kinda like the lord of wolves, with the spikes. It has bits and bobs everywhere kinda like the VoG weapons. It also has it's "core" exposed as some fusion rifles have, the core is kinda like the big orb in the shrine of oryx mission. The whole weapon is themed after that "orb".

              • New Tier of Rarity: Mythic Weapon idea: Rarity - [b]Mythic[/b] Name - Hellfire Hero Weapon Type - Scout Rifle Element - Solar Stats: RoF - 60 Impact - 65 Range - 40 Stability - 50 Reload - 70 Perks: Soft Ballistics - Penalty to Impact, increased Stability Aggresive Ballistics - Increased Impact and Reload speed, penalty to Stability Smart Ballistics - Increased Range, Stability and Reload speed, penalty to Impact and Fire Rate Special Ability - Hellfire Rounds: This weapon's rounds contain the hottest substance in the known universe. Rounds travel faster and farther and do more damage proportional to distance traveled. Design prospect: A long barreled scout rifle with a mid-zoom scope (fireball reticle). Magazine inserts under the grip. Angled foregrip on the under rail. Minimalist buttstock (stock has as few components as possible). Weapon's body glows a dark red mixed orange to represent the glow of fire.

(The current max base damage is 365)[/b] Cosmetics: Parts of the gun are blurred and have the blue, transparent texture that appears immediately after you equip a weapon. Other parts of the gun are the clip for a scout rifle, a sniper barrel, a hand cannon magazine, and the magazine for an auto rifle. The gun fires with a very hollow, windy sound, but in a quiet area, buzzing sounds can be heard, as well as whispers.

                  Class: exotic primary Name: pyrodancer Description: if it bites.... Burn it Looks: lengthy weapon, same size as a sniper but a flamethrower, range isn't great however impact is extremely high, it's signature perk: pyrodancer if 3 enemy's are simultaneously burnt a large fireball spawns and spreads the floor in fire.

                  Tier: Exotic Damage Type :Solar Name: Traveler's Spark Weapon Type: Machine Gun (Heavy) Tagline: "Watch the Darkness burn. It would do the same for you." First Perk Tree: Smooth Ballistics/ Smart Drift Control/ Linear Compensator. First Perk: Persistence Second Perk Tree: Extended Mag/ Fitted Stock/ Single point sling Exotic Perk - Favor of Light: Killing minions of the darkness with precision damage has a 60% chance to refill the magazine. This effect draws from your current heavy ammo reserve. If the clip is still at least half full upon this effect activating, your next reload has a 30% chance to not use any reserve ammo. Cosmetics: Clean, bright white outer plating and solar energy (Basically fire) smoking out of each side. Simple red-dot sight. A dark-grey barrel extends forward from the body of the gun. Angular, straight lines form the main weapon chassis. The gun is in near- perfect condition, with a few small scratches along the sides. The handle is covered by an angular guard.

                • I think this should have been the Vex Mythoclast, but too late , so I added a hive thing too. Weapon Tier: Exotic Damage Type: Void Weapon Name: Shield Piercer D/S Weapon Type: Hand Cannon Tagline: Don't stop 'till they drop Major Perk 1: Rodeo - Significantly decreases this weapons recoil. Major Perk 2: Dead Yet? - This weapon can deal damage while Hobgoblins have a burn shield up and can pierce Knight walls of darkness. Don't know about the trees though.

                    Weapon Tier: Strange (black background for thumbnail) Damage type: Unknown (kinetic, with a 21.3% chance of a round having an elemental charge Weapon Name: The Veteran Weapon Type: Hand Cannon Tagline: "A Lone Wolf of a Hunter found this curious cannon washed up on one of Venus' many shores" Mag size: 12 Sights: one single high stability sight Perk 1: Outlaw Perk Row: Explosive Rounds/Reload Speed Increase/Stability Increase Perk 2: perk that increases stability per hit Exotic Perk: War Torn (significantly reduces kick from being shot, increased stability by 10% when shot which stacks 10 times, increased headshot damage, bonus 15 points per kill in crucible, and one random bullet per mag has a 73% chance to not fire. Only in effect while The Veteran is in your hands.) First Tier perk: Standard Fire Rate/ Water Damage (significantly reduces fire rate, but increases impact above hand cannon maximum) Physical description: looks similar to "The Devil You Know" but has a longer barrel and a foregrip. No vanguard mark obviously. Is black with a few large spots where the paint has been weathered down, revealing rusted metal. The grip has a dirty dark purple clothe wrapped around it. The tip of the trigger has broken off. And because I can The enlightenment Exotic Helm (all classes) "The cost of enlightenment may be your eyes, but who needs sight when you know all?" Grenade kills reduce melee charge Melee kills reduce grenade charge "Enlightened One" (outlines PVE/PVP enemies in bright red, outlines can be viewed through walls. Your brightness is lowered slightly) Physical description: Hunter- looks like the rogue helm, but where the visor is, is covered by a large burn mark. Rest of helm is default white, shader can change color. Titan- Similar to the Holdfast type 3, but the visor slot in the center is removed and the majority of the face side is covered by a large burn mark. Same color scheme as hunter. Warlock- similar to ISTANU-GNT Razor, but visor is replaced with armor, large burn covering most of the face. Same color scheme as previous two.

                    • Exotic Kinetic "The timeless one" Machine gun A testament of Old Germania First perk: "german engineering" this gun when fired longer will grow more accurate. Second perk: "blitzkrieg" explosive rounds that will track their target. Exotic perk:"buzzsaw"max fire rate, this gun can hold 600 rounds in reserve and will feed directly from reserve ammo. Barrel upgrades Less recoil, more range "bipod" Less stability, higher impact "cold forged barrel" Increased range, more stability "tripod" For all of you guys, im referring to the MG42 as its considered a "timeless design" since it is a simple and effective design that is still used today etc etc.

                    • Exotic Arc Zeus bolt Rocket launcher " let the power of Zeus smite Thy " Stats max Velocity and blast radius decent reload 2 in the tube 7 in reserve. Perks 1st 3 in the tube,flared mag well and exotic perk Zeus's might. Shells fired from this rocket have proxi and explode in an arch radius that can chain( arc bolt grenade) We need a rocket to be on level with gally and don't have an exotic arch one.

                      • Destiny could really use a multipurpose special weapon with a unique & awesome feel. Folks I give you: Name: Light Eater X Class: Exotic Type: Bow & Arrow Damage Element: Kinetic Quote: "Light comes in many forms, and in many flavors, if you will." Ammo: 24 Rate of Fire: 10/100 Range: 70/100 Impact: 55/100 Stability 85/100 Arch-Range: 80/100 (You can calculate the arch range by taking 80% of the weapons overall range, which is 70/100. The number you come up with is the point in the arrows range in which it will begin to arch downward). Column 1: - Kinetic Damage - No Magazine Needed (It's a bow, you have full access to your entire quiver.) Column 2: - Low Range Optics - A low range scope for the bow. - Mid Range Optics - A mid range scope for the bow. Column 3: - Light Detector - Provides the heat signatures of enemies when aiming down the sights. Column 4: - Send it - Custom Optics - Enhanced Quiver (Holds more arrows) Column 5 (Exotic Perk) - Identity Crisis - The first projectile fired at a target reports its shield-type back to Light Eater X for temporary adjustment. (Basically, the weapon is default kinetic, but when you hit an enemy with a void shield for example, the weapon will change to void temporarily. If you hit a dreg, it turns back to kinetic. A wizard will turn it solar, etc... You get it). Here's a concept. Feel free to change it up!                         • Exotic Scout Rifle "Valfathers Gaze" Damage type: Solar/Arc Tagline: "All encompassing, all consuming" Major Perk 1: Enemies set ablaze/electrocuted while ADS dealing small amount of damage Major Perk 2: All enemies highlighted (through walls, floors, ceilings, obstacles etc) Secondary Perks: Field Scout, armor piercing rounds, snapshot Selecting Solar or Arc damage adusts RoF or Impact alternatively. Solar stats are that of Gheleons Demise Arc stats are that of B-Line Trauma
