I'm sure the entire Bungie staff knows this too. Feels kind of like common sense to me. Can you imagine how ridiculous it would look if someone was looking for a thorn and offering like 200 ascendant shards hahaha

All I think people want to trade is raid gear and maybe 4 exotics, like you said common sense, throw in 1000 more exotics and 500 sets of raid gear then trading would sound more practical.
