Your best RNG moment?
Hey guys! Since my thread [b]"worst RNG moment"[/b] did so well, i thought i would make a similar one where we can all share that one awesome moment we've had when RNG worked totally in our favor for once!
[b]Mine:[/b] Back when people were just learning about how awesome Heart of the Praxic Fire was, i wanted it so bad! One week i saw Xur had an exotic chest engram for sale, but it would cost every last mote of light that i had. I figured "what else would i spend them on anyway" and impluse bought the engram. I got it decrypted and sure enough out of all the exotic torsos out there i got the one i truly wanted! That was my first Heart of the Praxic Fire 1.0! :)

I had two: the first was when Hardlight dropped from the first chest in Crota and second was when Red Death decrypted from a legendary engram (at the time everyone was clamouring for both these weapons)

When TTK came out: Ever since I first bought Destiny I'd been trying to get Red Death. Beat the first mission of TTK and get that deceptive engram; bam, Red Death.

I was telling them how I loved scout rifles and I could do so well if I had an exotic one. Once I stopped talking, we killed the boss and finished the nightfall. Behold, the very gun I wanted for so long. The gun I was JUST TALKING ABOUT. The MIDA multi-tool. After ttk: First legendary engram since ttk came out... Got the taikonaut.

This was probably my best and worst RNG moment ever. This was back in vanilla destiny when Rahool made guardians cry every day all day and it was damn near impossible to even spot a legendary engram. Was on patrol on earth and I sniped a reaver vandal with my trusty Icebreaker. As he exploded into oblivion I see 2 purple engrams pounce out of his exploded body. First time and only time I've ever seen that. Turned them in, two blues. FML. Like I said, best because it was unbelievably rare for that to happen and worst because it turned to crap.

I got an Ice Breaker from Crucible, back when Dark Below just came out. It is My most used exotic, and got me In the top 1% longest ranged kills. (Almost 2,500 meters) Shit served me well. But now It is stuck in year 1. R.I.P.

First helmet I bought last week turned into a Taikonaut! Exactly what I was hoping for!
