Good tips to help get 500 void kills in PVP to get through Thorn?
I have been trying and trying to get 500 points in PVP to advance on getting Thorn, but I keep getting my butt kicked. Anyone have a good ideas or a good setup to try to try to get it done?

If it's on ur titan this is your setup: Defender Magnetic grenades Void shotgun (any rarity) Armamentarium for double grenades Melee when charged is void Most of your play will be close quarter playing on control. Do this and you'll do it in a few hours

Void damage weapons. Void subclass. Be good... lol

Corrective measure. And play on Combined Arms

I used Praedyth's Revenge and the Crash FWC shotgun, but if you're a warlock wear Voidfang Vestments exotic chest armour and use Axion Bolt (gives you a third bolt) and Nova Bombs and it will go much quicker.

control, camp a point with a void lmg and fusion. move as little as possible, watch your radar etc.

Anyone bored and want to help a fellow Titan out with this? Im sure we could finish it in a few runs in PVP, I will be back on after 6:00pm central tonight if anyone wants to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!

Use void weapons.

Be patient. Roll shotguns on tight maps and fusions on midsized maps. Pick your corners and don't get greedy. Be mothodical about your movements, check your radar often and don't attempt to win a 2 or 3 on 1 fight. But most importantly be patient!

1 Replyi used the Comedian shotgun in Control matches. -- the best advice I can offer is: take your time. don't rush the bounty, because if you're not "good" at PvP, it's going to feel like an uphill battle. my first [b]couple days[/b] I barely broke 100. once I started playing Control & paying attention to how the match goes, it was breeze. good luck! [spoiler]fact: I'd rather do the Crucible part 3 times, than that last part once.[/spoiler]

I completed this part the other day my set up was Atheon epilogue Preadeths revenge ( sorry if miss spelled ) And a void rocket launcher I'm also a 31 warlock so void walker all the way took me ages to get over 100 points but persist and you will get there. I found 90% of the time I was camping with my sniper and could get 4/5 kills before someone killed me then I would just do the same again

Not sure what class you have the bounty on, helps if it's a warlock. I've gotten it a few times and I use atheons epilogue, praydths revenge and corrective measures. Normally get the bounty done in 5-6 matches of control

1 Reply>get a friend to help >get your void weapons >enter rumble match together >camp in corner with void weapons >have friend come to you and you kill him >rinse and repeat >friend gets exotic from sucking so bad >you get thorn >YAY

Invite your friends to play rumble with you and have them hide some place while you go kill them with void

I am using a Titan for this, hopefully can get it within the next few days, been trying for weeks.....

If ur a warlock use voidwalker, and try do vog and get atheons epilogue , do work

I suck at crucible and don't have time for it unless it's for these bounties. Did this same bounty the other night. Use epilogue if you have it, void fusion/shorty etc. use void walker or defender (hoping your not a hunter for this). Being killed will slow your progress, so be patient. I think assists also count so stick with a group of 2 or 3 and there less chance of dieing as well

I used the Epilogue. During the Iron Banner, that gun ripped.

Not 500 kills just 100, and use Atheons epilogue,truth,praedyths revenge,sword breaker or other void shotguns and use void-subclass if u have one

Use Atheon's Epilogue or a void fusion rifle.

Atheon's Epilogue makes this pretty quick(even for a bad PVP player like me). Without it then a void shotty or fusion rifle are your best bet. Don't forget to use void special abilities as well. Deaths work against you but not terribly. Also focus on warlocks they are worth more points. Also play control or or salvage, the objective game types lead to players less actively hunting you.

I bought a void shotgun. I'm also going to say use your primary too. It's better to not get any points than to die and lose some.

Play carefully. Don't psych yourself out (I did this in the beginning). Make sure the weapon you use the most is void. I played sneaky with my invisibility and shotgun + fusion rifle. Just play careful and you will see that KD rise. Took me 2-3 hours. Thorn is worth it. Don't give up.
