You have to work to get exotic bounty weapons and the vex, I had to do hard mode like 15 times before I got one I earned it.

Oh yeah? Some guy finished Hard Mode once and got the Vex. Whoopdedoo. Another guy did it 40 times and still doesn't have it.

Nothing to say about the bounty weapons...so you agree that you do have to work/earn them then.

Bounty weapons? Rng again? I've gotten 15 total. Some people still haven't seen a missive. It doesn't matter, there's no earning cause it's relative. Some one could work harder or not as hard for the same item. You can't draw the line anywhere because it's different for every person no matter the method.

Getting the actual bounty is RNG. I've seen so many posts complaining about how people can't complete the thorn bounty because they suck at pvp. Finishing the bounty is earning the exotic because you had to work for it. I have done every exotic bounty at least once except super good advice and I don't think they are hard, but I did work to obtain them.

That's what I mean. As long as rng is in the process it doesn't matter. But yes, the bounties are the closest this game will get to earning something. Later tonight I'll be finishing up invective again for another shard.
