am i bad for not fully upgrading weapons?

3 RepliesI mean On purpose? Or do you just not have the time/materials to do so? It's more understandable if it's the latter, and while it makes it harder for you in raids, it shouldn't make it impossible to do. Unless you're using level 18 blues.

Nope. I have a few that I've never taken past the point where they need ascendent energy. Too expensive. But it's nice to try different weapons.

4 RepliesThe damage is done essentially by taking the first two numbers of a weapons damage to find out what level mob it kills. So 300 damage weapons kill level 30 mobs but has a significant damage reduction to anything above level 30 and even more so if you aren't the same level as the mob you are killing, having maxed guns doesnt make you bad however you would deal about half the damage if not less damage than a team member and it does make doing strikes difficult for yourself. I would upgrade your stuff simply because it would make the game easier for you but a lot of people are very harsh for not having weapons fully upgraded so keeping them happy is an added bonus :)

depends on whether you're honest about it with the rest of your team. we've all been there, weapons sitting in our inventory with no energy with which to upgrade 'em. it's nothing to be ashamed of.

Yes, fully upgraded weapons mean maximum damage. You are letting the team down, by not being as strong as you can be. Run VoG get all th3 ascendent mats you need, then run CE. You will notice a difference
