After doing over 500 Vanguard tiger strikes and now Vanguard Roc strikes I can now say that I am 100% sure that whoever has the lowest kills has a higher chance of getting better gear or more gear in the end game mission rewards. I'm not saying every game I am just saying most games.
Example we just finish a Vanguard Roc game
Player one: 42 kills: 1 Solid blue, 1 blue engram
player two: 24 kills 1 legendary ,2 blue engrams, 1 solid blue
player three: 89 kills 2 solid blue
Time and time again I have seen this happen, AND its even more common with people who join a game at the last second with 0 kills, only to get a legendary engram without contributing to the fight one bit. Not only in strikes does this happen but it can happen in Daily missions, Weekly missions and Nightfalls. Anything with endgame engram rewards. I haven't played much Crucibles but I have heard people are having this same issue.
Now i'm thinking this may be a bug, but if it isn't a bug this is a major design flaw Bungie! Its extremely frustrating when the person who goes afk for the first half of the game with 5 kills keeps getting the best gear! It really is a downer when i feel like i'm getting punished for doing good at the game.
If anyone is having the same issue please comment id love to here it.
