How can you even attempt to earn your own shit when everything is random??? I've wanted Hard Light since the first week of this games release and I have yet to get one. It's the only exotic weapon that I don't have and I have had 7 Midas drop alone. Why can't I exchange my luck for someone elses luck?

You truly don't understand what I am saying, it's ok tho. Trading will create a secondary economy which will be detrimental to the game. You'll have players wanting to trade for real money then you also have players who will unbalance the game.

so? who cares if some dbag wants real cash for a trade. isn't that up to the person wanting the item to decide if the terms are acceptable? that's not an acceptable argument, as it's not really a reason not to implement it. how will it unbalance the game if all drops are random and can happen for anyone, anyways?

That's why you trade an exotic for an exotic. i doubt a lot of people would want to part with both an exotic and money in real life just for a different exotic. Things such as bounty exotics or the mythoclast and necrochasm shouldn't be able to be traded. Only exotics that are in Xurs loot table as to not destroy the rarity of the other exotics that you can actually "earn".
