Why I don't use my Ghallarhorn
Hunger of Crota is just as good, Ice breaker regenerates ammo making it the best sniper IMO.
Edit: I actually do use my Ghallarhorn, I was just making a point. I also just love the IB a lot.

2 RepliesI don't use gallarhorn at all, for the very reason I don't like exotic heavies. But saying anything can match up to the damage output of the g-horn is just plain silly

HoC is not just as good. Also black hammer does more damage. Higher impact. Free ammo if you can aim. Sorry but it's Fatebringer/Black Hammer/Gjallarhorn. Now if you have a new 1969 w precision fast reload it might be better than fatebringer but that's about it.

2 RepliesNo launcher is just as good. Ghorn is a boss killer. The initial rocket hit+ the wolf pack rounds is the equivalent of 2 rockets of damage. No other launcher can do that. There are better rockets for mobs of enemies but no launcher is better for a boss. Black hammer is the best sniper if you have the accuracy. Ice breaker is best for general use. But doesn't have the potential damage output that black hammer does.

Gjallarhorn is better than all of them because of wolf pack rounds, it's just that simple. The argument can be made that Black Hammer is just as good, if not better than IceBreaker in the hands of a proficient sniper.

The gjallahorn is better. It just is. More damage and tracking wolf pack rounds, better than cluster. And sometimes you don't need the overkill and that set up is better for certain situations but to say hunger is as good is wrong. The black hammer is better if your a decent sniper and the enemy doesn't have a shield.

Sometimes it's better to go with Ice Breaker--even within the Raid, but the Wizards and Crota it's not even close. Ghorn and Black Hammer is hands down the better combination.
