The reason controllers have aim assist is because of that handicap. It does raise the level of skill required to use a controller. AA is used to compensate for the lack of precision, the more aggressive it is the nearer it is to becoming as precise as using a mouse, however if it's too aggressive it might as well be an aimbot. So too much means u don't need as much skill

I still dont get it. To me its the same principle as turning your sensitivity so you can look/aim faster.
