I agree. The game has needed trading from day 1 pretty much. Nobody can come up with a legitimate reason as to why they SHOULDN'T add trading.

  • Nobody? ha, the noobs are out in full force. Trading takes away a HUGE point of this game, which is to find/earn lucky gear/weapon drops as you play. Some people just keep playing to get that one drop they've been waiting for. Not to mention, the excitement that happens when you finally do get a nice drop you've been wanting. Trading is for noobs. It's no surprise these tired old threads are getting rehashed. The noobs don't understand how the grind works. Keep playing, Noobs. The good stuff will come.

  • There's one fallacy involved in your argument, but since you can't see it in your second sentence I'll spell it out for you. earn lucky gear This game doesn't have a sense of "earning." There is no "earn." EVERY exotic in the game, asides from sub-par exotic bounty rewards, are dropped via RNG. You don't kill a specific boss or enemy to get a weapon - you don't overcome a specific challenge. And it's not a reward, either. A "reward" implies you get something good, for doing a good job. But the Crucible disproves this, as it's literally all based on RNG and nothing else. Exotics are difficult to find for some people - I know people with multiple copies of Hawkmoon and I've seen the gun drop to many a shitty player. I've seen a TON of exotics drop to people who AFK in Strikes and Crucible. Is that "earning" an item to you? AFKing in normal content? Trading would breathe a lot of new life into this game since people would now have the opportunity to acquire weapons that otherwise eluded them; I guarantee, guarantee that people would play more often, and for longer stints, if they had weapons and armor they REALLY wanted to get. Trading is a good thing, and shouldn't be omitted from this game for much longer. If you can't see that, you really are blind as hell lmfao

You find lucky drops, you earn other stuff through time invested, or buying from Xur. How is this so hard to grasp for some people? lol Edit: And you cannot guarantee anybody else's amount of time played if trading was incorporated. So YOU would play more, and many noobs as well, until they got everything they wanted/needed. Ok. My point remains. This would only benefit noobs.
