my clan and i have talked about this alot. the general consensus is that there would be much more benefit in a limited clan trading than all out gamer to gamer trading. if it was free for all this for that i think it would break the already bad loot system just like borderlands. its nice to have all the guns u want, but when everybody has something so quickly i think it ruins it. we also agree that there should be enemies or bosses to kill or find in the gameworld like patrol that have a chance to drop a specific weapon or items. this would fill a hole in this supposed mmo. it is much more rewarding to go fight something knowing theres a chance at an item u want/need. it takes some of the monotony away because instead of just killing a thing because a bounty says to, just to get a blue engram or vanguard marks, you are working towards a goal. it gives u a mission instead of a chore. people also complain about destiny's repetitive feel because theres no feeling of accomplishment in what we do. some of the best mmo's out there have huge portions of repeated task's but they reward the player properly. thats why i think it would be better to have things to kill for items rather than an all out trading system. or heres an idea........Crafting.........we collect "materials" for items to upgrade them. we get "materials" when we break something down. so let us combine things into weapons, armor, class items, engrams. this many of this stuff and u can make a legendary or exotic engram. i think they need to build on whats here. all out trading in my honest opinion would be a detriment to this game.
