So let me start this off by saying, "I am a casual gamer." If I had the time to play more trust me I sure as hell would. I have no problem waiting to earn my gear by RNG. It makes it all the more rewarding and makes the game last longer. Now the real problem is this.
When I used to look at the forums to find VOG runs we had guys who would literally take noobs through it and teach them the works. This helped me tremendously and I made some cool friends along the way.
I ran 2 raids these last 3 days. The first raid I had no idea what I was doing but lied and said "I've been here before and done some of it might need a refresh on what to do". Nobody really complained, but we got through it and the original runner took his time and clan to teach me everything about it. The next time I went to look and everything said "must be experienced". It seems so hard to find a group to take a new raider and explain. It was so hard for me to find my first game. I asked the guy I was raiding with the 2nd time and he just said he did not want to explain it all over again.
Why is it so hard for us to come together like we did and teach these new players the raid? Sure you can cheese some of it yourself, but that's a whole other topic. I feel this isn't as community oriented as we were with VOG. We have a lot of new guys who will never know the loot cave or VOG anymore. Tell me your thoughts and also if you bring noobs why or why not? Thanks for the time.
seriously are you all joking? I have ran the raid on several occasions. I'm talking for getting together and showing some new guys NOT ME HOLY BALLS
