just unlocked vault of glass how do i get on it
and if anyone wants to help me with my first go through it would be appreciated

2 RepliesAfter you reach lvl 28 go to the recruitment section of the forum and find the (Vault of Glass NORMAL Raid on "you system") and you can find people attempting the raid. Do Normal first cause Hard is lvl 30 and you can't be revived unless you team wipes so you'll want to get used to the raid first. Do Vanguard Strike Playlists or play Crucible until you reach lvl 2 with one of them so you can start buying the 33 light gear. All 4 pieces from one of them get you to lvl 31 when fully upgraded. Most liked exotics Ice Breaker & Gjallarhorn. To be honest they are powerful but overrated (but I recommend you but it if you see it being sold by Xûr) p.s. if you post in the forums make sure you say "first time raider" cause some people are impatient idiots and if you join saying "what's the relic" or "what's a sync plate" you'll get kicked pretty fast.

Do vanguard strikes until you get to at least 26 first. It's hard to enjoy a raid if you aren't doing any real damage.

Do it that thing with the raid is play its as much as you can its all learning and every bit helps find a team on forum and go for it make sure u have void fusion rifle and a void heavy for monitors also buy sum heavy ammo synth from gunsmith in tower gud luck guardian and light speed

Don't listen to this ourboros dude. Your gonna need a full fireteam for sure though which is five more people but I wouldn't recommend doing it til your actually lvl 26 or higher cause you'll be useless

The best I could say is join a clan, they will help with some strikes, weekly heroic and then vault. When I joined mine I had never run the vault they ran me through with such patience it would have made a saint cry. There are some real good ones out there.

NOOB! Jk it's a raid, aka a really long mission that u need 6 people to play, and it's really hard, I suggest watching some guides on YouTube, and recommend being a lvl 26 to play it. If u need people go to this website [url=http://destinylfg.com]link[/url]

Edited by Nintentard: 1/2/2015 8:52:03 AMDon't bother with it now. Just do some bounties for the vanguard, buy the gear that they have, lvl it up and then come back for the Vault. That way you'll be lvl 31, and won't have to worry about obsolete gear.

All these people being nice and sugar coating. I'm going to tell you the cold hard painful truth. Forget that the vault even exist. If you go there now you will be useless luggage for the other five people on the team. First get you yourself a legendary primary weapon from a tower vendor. I recommend either the Vanguard "up for anything" or new monarchy's "vanquisher". Then buy vendor legendary armor. Level that armor until you hit level 27 or 28 then look for a VoG team. You might find someone willing to run you through on these forums as you are now but I will tell you right now you will spend the entire time spectating as you will die in one hit.

In all kindness, just wait a bit before you attempt a VoG. Your level and gear isn't anywhere near enough, it'll be a horrible experience, you'll just be dying and you won't be able to damage anything. I did a VoG at level 26, with better weapons than you're currently packing and it really wasn't fun at all. I was only carried through by the kindness of a bunch of level 30s, who rather sagely advised me to just 'hide in a corner and try not to die'. Give it some time - level up on strike playlists, bounties and public events for a little while longer. Good luck!

You're only a level 22. Enemies are 4 levels above you. You will do no damage to anything and be one shot by everything.

Hope you find someone to help you, but you really should be lvl 26 at the bare minimum. Maybe you'll find a team to carry you through it though. Good luck on your search!
