ok well i herd if oy get a cone splatter you mifght get recon well i got one but it was a suicide i threw a spike gernafe and a cone cam and hit me in the face its on my file share do you know abybody who might be able to get me recon? [

Wait Wait Wait Ok, so many many things about this whole update seem flawed. If you can get a general in anything, does that mean there is no more ranks due to not getting the required ranks? Brigadier Generals? Strike Commanders? MASTER SERGANTS? And what about this progress bar? Do you actually lose progress on getting your general in say Social slayer when you lose? Or is it 600 wins accumatively and your a gen? Does that mean if your a 50 in Team Slayer but you didn't play 600 games your not a general anymore? Your 50 is completely uesless? If any of this was answered already I appologize. I'm just curious here.

Nice dicussion on how Bungie favorites work. I knew if you got on bungie favories and other reason people wouldnt get recon. thats the only reason why people want to get one bungie favorites is just to get Recon. Id rather just have fun playing the game then get one bungie favorites. if i did something amazing i would let people know about it. but everyone just needs to have fun and play the game. People should just be happy with the armor they got. not to many people look at armor when you are in game. they just pay attension to killing people i know i do and i think everyone else should. well enjoy yall [Edited on 08.06.2008 3:09 PM PDT]

I kind of just wish you guys at bungie weren't so far up your own brute shots to see that all these people telling and asking you to give them recon are not people who know how bungie works.. They don't get that you people see yourselves as famous with halo, and they don't see how you try to spoon feed them in your update every week about not giving out recon. They weren't in the forums just ignoring the constant reminder that you don't give out recon. It just seems so redundant to remind everyone that there are still people who don't visit bungie once a day. I don't know about you, but I can live with not hearing about it. Figured I'd make a noise about the yawning repetitive sections of the weeklys with the gleaming irony of a great rush quote by a bunch of weak wristed ego-sensitive typists. Shut up and just make your fun, timeless games. And tell us what your next project is. Please. [Edited on 06.13.2008 3:26 PM PDT]

The flood didn't breach its containment on delta halo until the level Quarantine Zone in Halo 2. That would mean that the final message is taking place 2512332 hours (about 287 years) after the events of the games. I believe (for no particular reason) that this amount of time could be connected to how much time the MC is floating in space in the remains of the Dawn. After all, events in a story generally take place in roughly the same time period, so it seams reasonable that our friend Master Chief could be waking up 287 years after the end of halo 3.

Heh, you should be carefull Bungie. If you aren't carefull people are going to go on the wrong track here and think that you are bringing out an EXPANSION to halo or something. Hehe. That said, certainly interesting and I look forward to learning more about that odd little message. Oh, by the way, Total Annihilation kicked ass retro style. Possibly still one of the most balenced RTS games of all time. You have good taste, Mr Designer! :)
