Quick way to get helium filaments?

First moon zone, endless loops until I hit a super chest. Then I know it's time to quit. A super chest being one of those with ~10 materials, several greens and maybe a blue item as well. I tend to get about one an hour while farming chests... I got one as my 2nd chest the other day. I figured it was a sign to quit while I was ahead.

Farm them in archers line on the moon.

I can get 15-20 Helium filaments just by farming the first area in the moon.

Hmm...... 1. Turn on PS4 2. Start Destiny 3. Choose a character 4. Go to Tower 5. Walk over to Roni 50-33 by the shipwreck 6. Buy materials from Roni Or replace steps 5 and 6 with the Crucible Quartermaster. DONE!!! ;-)

first part of the moon if you just go back n forth between the building and past the center that dips down, hunt for chests, very very fast

Just do the moon loop. I find helium almost in every area. Pick up missions from beacons and get reputation and experience points along the way. Don't forget loot chests, they have Helium and sometimes other good stuff.I can get 100 helium filaments in less than a hour.

Farm roc strikes for marks.(and random engrams) Take said marks to vendor and buy them. Seriously unless you're pretty new to the game this is best method. If you are new to the game then normal chest farming is best method. Above poster said archers line on moon which is exactly right. Form yourself a loop around the map hit all caves and building for chests and grab helium on the ground.

Quick way? Got any extra/unneeded vanguard or crucible marks? Purchase 20 of any for only 10 Normal way? Farm. It's a lot more fun when you farm with friends

Strikes-->Vanguard Marks-->Helium Filaments. Or go farm chests on the moon in Archers Line. There's a good video on YouTube showing an easy, profitable, quick run.
