Revised: Those who cheese Crota have ZERO skill
It's becoming harder and harder to find a decent group with MODERATE skill to beat Crota without cheesing. The common response: "It's easier", "It's faster", "We have a two level 30s"...WTF Is wrong with you?
I challenge you(Do you guys even LIKE a challenge???) that I will beat crota with two level 30s and myself carrying the sword...With ANY of my characters as 31, I wont even use my level 32 hunter, BEFORE you can cheese him..

If, you have Crota special or heavy weapon during the Hard raid once its released, and you DONT know what is going on, you will be booted you pathetic scrubs...

Just reached 32 yesterday. My team did Crota legit first two weeks and cheese after that because it saves so much time. We very much ly know what we're doing.

Tbh I cheese him now mostly because finding a team is hard, yea I beat the raid legit yes I three maned it legit on reset this week. So for the rest I cheese if can't find anyone

Legitimately have beat Crota with a solid team I believe 4 times. 1 time ended up being a cheese from a random group who happend to be speaking Russian. Had no idea what was happening until he didn't get back up lol.

I cheese simply because it's too much work to get 5 other people, I solo everything with my hunter until I get to crota then my cousin joins me an we cheese him too, I've also done it legitimately when I CAN find a team but most of the time I have no one.

This is not and has never been a player problem. The majority of pugs will take advantage of any exploit available. You aren't going to change any minds with forum posts. This is bungies issue and shame on them for having do many issues and taking forever to fix them

My problem was that I always got paired up with shit teammates that just weren't gettin it. I killed Crota the first week it came out legit after about 3 hours of fighting him but now I just cheese him and go on my merry way. The problem isn't me it's the teams i've been paired with. I'd like to consistently do it legit but spending 3 hours with a group of people that just aren't getting it is not my idea of fun for something I feel I can do easily with a good group.

I see all these posts bashing people who cheese, but no one ever has a problem when your playing. I could care less either way, but I would like to do it legit, just so I know the best way to do it. When hard comes out, these cheeses wont work

1 ReplyThis cheese could be considered cheating, you are tampering with the console you are not simply pushing a boss of the cliff or de spawning all the enemies you are cheating. I'll admit I've beaten Crota 3 times once was a cheese but the other two were legit (although they were both with level 32 sword carriers) this is gonna get patched and the people who have been cheesing will have to learn how to do it properly, it is also quicker to do it legit by the time you wait for the guy to dc and join back you couldve already killed Crota.

1 ReplyAfter 9 legit kills in the first 2 weeks, crota becomes a chore. Repetitive, boring, endless grind no matter how it's beaten. Now I just solo the beginning up to the witch and find a crota cp to 2-man cheese it. (Sometimes friends/clan members tag along). Takes less time to do this than to gather a full raid group.

What platform are you on? Of you want a good non-cheating team on the ps4 hit me up. I've downed it 7 times, never cheesed. We dropped him in one attempt yesterday.

I agree with you but it is impossible for anyone to kill crota faster than cheating. As soon as he is down its one sword.

Beat him without anyone using Gjallar and IB and it's a challenge. If you have 1 person using the IB on Boomers and the other with Gjallar on Crota, it's easy as can be.

Dude, even though I will admit that I've cheesed crota. I've beaten him legit and I'm a level 29. So ignore all the complainers out there who only cheese. You can still rock the raid with a single 31 on your team.

2 RepliesI used to raid when you lost experience and levels for deaths. There was no voice chat to coordinate attacks with a raid party of 50+ people. I've paid my dues and will cheese every chance I get. You are no moral compass in regards to the right or wrong way to play the game nor are you in the top tier of best players in the game. What about the 10 times in a row that we get him down to last sword and some glitch bs screws us I've got him down to last sword and kill the swordbearer just to have the sword disappear rt after we pick it up or get croda to a knee just to have him magically still hit you while he is down so after 10 tries that we should have beat him each time we said -blam!- this and cheese him until bungie fixes the damn bug I don't care about cheeseing him
