"carry more ammo for xxx weapons" perk doesn't stack?
Ok guardians - can anyone else confirm that the "carry more ammo for xxx weapons" perk doesn't stack? My titan runs with Armamentarium, which has "Carry more ammo for heavy weapons", which puts my Harm's Way HMG at 196 bullets. Adding Kabr's Forceful Greaves, which also has the "Carry more ammo for heavy weapons" perk, still ends up with 196 bullets. (Even after dying, using the hmg, getting an ammo drop. All within the same mission, but wouldn't think that would matter.)
Perks really seem like they should stack - if they don't, that's an important game mechanic to know-how and should somehow be made more obvious...

3 RepliesI had that perk on one of my pieces of gear. Meant to give me extra heavy ammo. I get 1 extra bullet?!?

I stacked the more ammo for auto rifles and ended up with 999 ammo

1 ReplyActually, now I'm wondering if other perks stack as well. (For instance, melee speed.) Pretty important to know - my armor choices will be very different if they don't. (And so far it's not looking good - I can confirm that heavy doesn't stack, at least not with HMG.) Maybe it's a bug?. If it's different post dlc, that means it either was a bug before, or it is one now...

2 RepliesCarry more specific weapon reserve stacks...I'm pretty sure. I tested it a long time ago but can't really remember. Once I get my warlock up I'm going to test bad juju and obsidian mind since everyone seems to have an opinion but no one seems to have tested it.

they used to stack, but when they fixed the atheon "bug" where he teleported the furthest 3 and changed it to random, they also removed the stacking abilities.

3 RepliesThey did stack for Heavy but it was only useful for rockets as one armor perk for heavy puts it at max and the second armor piece added only 1 more round to your reserve. 8 Gjallarhorn rounds is beautiful.

Good news though, you can now get rid of all that pesky heavy ammo via deaths, cutscenes, loading new missions, squirrel farts, ect. So take heart guardian, that heavy ammo will not be holding you down for long. (Protip: using rocket launchers will get rid of heavy ammo faster)
