Can someone tell me why his guns glow? Is it because he's a hunter?

That's weird my guns didn't glow when I played that part in VoG, guess I didn't pay attention to my gun..

It's because of times vengeance

It's from times vengeance. When the team kills all of the oracles all of the fire team deals more damage to atheon. It lasts as long as the timer is counting down. Something like 20 seconds or so.
