It has its holes, yes, but it's really not as bad as you might think. I honestly think it even has the merit to stand up to the Theory of Creationism. What do you think about evolution? Is it good enough to replace the Theory of Creationism or no?
Just as a reference, the holes in evolution are listed below:
1. Free will: Why would humans evolve to have free will if it means not acting upon evolutionary instincts? Is free will not a step back from evolution?
2. Origin of life: There is no clear, effective model as to how the first cell arose from its component atoms and molecules.
3. Lack of in between species and fossils: we should see more of a transition between each of the species in our fossil record if they really came from one another.

1)free will exists in pretty much every creature with a sufficiently advanced brain showing brain development, which occurs over many many thousands of years is linked 2)origin of life is not evolution but instead abiogenysis. A different field. 3)there is no missing link. Every year more gaps are filled in,there is no massive gap as spewed by the ignorant but instead little ones that keep getting filled.
