You can't use glitches as an excuse to have to help people... I have run Atheon dozens of times without problem and so have my teammates. They're all capable of using the shield solo especially when you're level 31 (inc myself). I didn't use my golden gun because I had just switched off my warlock and this was our first run and I didn't even think about using my super. Usually we do the oracles with just primary between two of us he just happened to have a machine gun on so he used that. Also on the first teleport 2 extra people go in to shoot oracles whilst I kill supplicants outside... Not shooting oracles with heavy/special ammo (which I didn't have at that point anyway) doesn't mean I'm not a team player... It means I know what my team is capable of and that Atheon is extremely easy to do...

Are you seriously this defiant in not helping your teammates that you bring up excuses? It's not hard to put a couple bullets down the stairs. And that warlock to Hunter excuse is the worst excuse I've heard in a long time. I have a warlock, Hunter, and titan and have done the raid countless times and never have I ever said to myself "I'm... I'm not a warlock... what should I do?...". And no, using a shitty scout rifle to conserve ammo is not the best thing to do on oracles. Since oracles instantly wipe your team, you should be using at least something decent, at least for the love of God, an auto rifle. Scout rifles are only good when you can get consistent crit shots and oracles... don't have a crit spot. So instead of using a slow weak peashooter to conserve, use something useful. And I don't even know what the hell your team is doing if 5 of you guys are in the portal and 1 person left outside to deal with all the supplicants. Well anyways, you pretty much proved my point. You rely on you teammates to do everything and you choose to not help. Carried much?
-
Well they took down Atheon pretty easily so your arguments are invalid.
-
Yeah but try what they did at level 27 and they would have got trashed by atheon... I'm not being a dick to this guy but most points are valid, he didn't help the team.
-
No level 27 is going to do hard
-
Yes. I do it.
-
Then 29/30 w.e man you didn't get the point at all
-
You're going to blame me for not getting the point when you said the wrong thing? Okay.
-
The point is they might as well 5 maned it he did nothing... Now do u get it?
-
He did nothing? I'm pretty sure he took down the most of Atheon's health with his ghorn. Nice try though.
-
I dont care what he was shooting atheon with. Killing atheon is only part. Clearing supplicant and oracles is way more important to the team. Miss an Oracle wipe, miss supplicant that kills teamates(possible) wipe. Not shooting atheon dosent directly cause a wipe.
-
I killed more oracles than anyone? Which video were you watching?
-
You can do it... We have done it a couple of times but you will be useless. We took a 27 through Crota the other day and they couldn't shoot anything cos it was all immune lol.
-
Mothertruckeye or whoever you are, it's simple you're an aśśhole

Edited by BoxMaker: 12/29/2014 12:38:02 PM"Or whoever you are" My gt is right there.
Kill yourself.
I may be an asshole but this guy is an idiot who defiantly wants to stay an idiot.

I have however jumped into middle to place a bubble and then proceeded to fist of havoc down the hole lol...
-
Something similar happened to me when we started the Atheon fight. I usually run sunsinger to spam grenades and self res just in case I die at gatekeepers but at Atheon, I always use void walker to nova bomb the adds. As soon as we started atheon's part, I switched over to void walker, got teleported, and when I double jumped to go to the middle platform, I blinked right past it and fell down. My voidwalker subclass was still in my PvP set up and I totally forgot to change it.
-
Lol I total hear ya. I use blink on hunter and warlock. And iv done some stupid things when changing classes mid match and forgetting. Point B on shores of time comes to mind. 'Time to take a swim'

The video was to show his loot drop. He didn't ask for criticism on his play style. It may appears to you that he sucks. And he very well may. But they got the job done didn't they? He got badass rewards. Isn't that what raiding is all about?
-
Edited by BoxMaker: 12/29/2014 12:20:26 PMIt's the whole RNG is stupid sort of thing all over again. Person who performs the worst gets best possible drops. Any random destiny player who can do better (vast majority) would think that this is bullshit. Summed up: Poor performance should equal meh rewards However destiny and in this particular instance: poor performance = best rewards Also not to mention, he chooses not to help his teammates... chooses
-
Did he perform the worse? No, he didn't. Your shit is invalid.
-
Yeah he kinda did perform the worst actually. You just used my main point against yourself.
-
I'm pretty positive he did the most damage to Atheon than the rest of his team.
-
Yeah I mentioned that in one of my other replies but the fact that he pretty much didn't help in literally any other mechanic negates everything else. Not giving a shit about relic holder, doing minimal shooting during oracles, all those parts have a high risk of wiping but he didn't help out at all. Anyone can shoot a rocket at a huge enemy but doing the other parts of the raid are just as important, which he fails to help out on. Doing the most amount of damage because he just so happened to find a Gjallarhorn somewhere does not mean he is a good teammate.
-
Yeah. That's destiny though. Seemingly rewards the weaker. Maybe it's one of those type deals where they're like you really suck at this. Here, here's a gjallarhorn so you can give the impression that you don't suck. Lmao. And about that last part. I understand that. But they got it done. They followed their usual system. But they beat the raid. Lol
-
Yeah but it irks me when people choose not to help because they're lazy and rely everything on their teammates.
