Why are PvE players FORCED to do Crucible?
i have absolutely no interest in PvP (but good luck to those of you for whom the reverse is true) That being the case, why does Bungie include Crucible elements in quests given to PvE players? Why can't there be harder (if need be) solo-able quests against the AI in order to do that Exotic Bounty or quest from so-and-so?
Bungie, you are getting close to selling a game that is crippled, uncompletable for PvE players or solo players who cannot or do not want to join a team, never mind those who hate Crucuble with a passion for whatever reason!

Bungie has decided that---in order to earn some of these weapons----the player must demonstrate prowess in MULTIPLE areas of the game. If you can't----or don't want to----then simply walk away and abandon the bounty. But coming here and insisting that you be given the rewards without having to do what is required to earn them is not cool. It is like Crucible players showing up here and demanding that they be given raid armor for PvP play. I'm a predominantly PvE player....and i have NO problems with Fate of All Fools being only available to the best-of-the-best PvP players.

Winning is a bonus. Winning give 3 marks, losing give 2... no difference, because the weekly cap is 100 anyway...

Then don't get it if you're not gunna do the crucible. Not everything in this game is for everyone. Exotics should be hard to come by, all exotic bounties SHOULD have both pve and pvp in them, so you have to do a bit of everything. The only problem I have is 90% of the exotics are complete horse shit.

There is nothing that forces you to do anything. If you do not WANT to do the thorn bounty then you are not REWARDED with the thorn. Exotic bounties are one of the few reward systems that are NOT RNG, yet people find a way to still complain.

5 RepliesThe game was never meant to be played solo. I'm really getting sick of hearing the cries of solo players. My suggestion is find another game if you really hate the Pvp aspect of it.

Not a fan of crucible, but am working my way through the Bad Juju bounty at the moment. Played 6 games of control the other night and got 4385 of the 10000 points needed. Im not very good at PvP at the best of times, but founf I actually played better with this objective in mind and therefore enjoyed the crucible a little more. Im still pretty bad at PvP, but didn't feel like such a burden to me team. (came last place 1 out of 6, as opposed to every game the first time I played crucible for 5 games and resolved to NEVER play it again)

I just delete crucible bounties. Just google when they pop up and pick one with no pvp. If all have it just delete it. I do.

5 RepliesIf you can, select bounties that don't involve crucible BS. Basically google each of the three options... Though all the exotic bounties are tedious... I'm not sure which will happen first. I get 8 more rare fusion rifles or I somehow manage to get the 500 void kills in the crucible... Or I end up with a full row of unfinished exotic bounties.

1 ReplyIt's because there are people so opposed to pvp that they made the bounties that way. I myself prefer PvE, but if i have a bounty in the crucible, then by all means I'm going to jump in and wreck stuff. PvP is mostly reaction-based. How fast can you react? The faster, the better you'll be. (Ps. If your not great at the crucible, use a fusion rifle. If you can keep them in the sights, its a one-hit kill.)

I know, right?! It's, like, so strange that in a game with MMO elements there would be an emphasis on co-op play. Did not see that one coming. But seriously, man. The bounties aren't that hard (tedious sometimes: sure). And if you really don't want to do them you can always abandon them. The game's not "forcing" you to complete them. And, excepting the Thorn, none of the bounty exotics are very good. So you wouldn't be missing out on much.

So having to do some PVP games to get a weapon(s) you dont need to complete the game makes the game crippled and "uncompletable"?
