Explain to me why you were unhappy with xur's inventory this week
I think it was one of the best. So please explain.
Also explain why he must have IB or ghorn to be good

Edit : a lot of people seem to be unhappy with the absence of engram amd/or heavy ammo synths any thoughts?
Edit 2 do you guys think engrams and heavy synths should be there every week?
Edit 3 what's up with all of you thinking xur would have something special for Christmas? I bever heard that was a thing only that we'd get something after the holidays
Edit 4 don't tell me this week isn't the best ever right?

Some thing I didn't have to be upgraded like ghorn or red death. I'm mostly looking to expand my exotic gun collection with stuff I do not own. The exotic weapon (no land beyond) dropped for me 2/3 nightfall this week for my self so that's a bust. That also gave me the exotic shards I needed for the week from Xur. I know his ammo and exotic engram are every other week but I only need them when they are not here...I might have to invest more for the bi weekly setup though.

I didn't think it was that bad. Upgrade to Hawkmoon and Ghorn, plus a new exotic weapon. You're fooling yourself if you think NLB is worse than Xûr selling Truth or Plan C again. I expect that Xûr will also sell an exotic engram next week.

Bad things avout xur this week: 1. No engram 2. Crap gun for sale (no land beyond) 3. No heavy synth. 4. Same warlock armour as last week! Good things about xur this week: 1. Gjallahorn upgrade. Bad 4 - 1 Good = sh!te week for Xur (and at Christmas no less)

I'm not happy but I'm also not full of joy. I wanted new armor for my Warlock (yeah I can still find hope). But at least I can conserve my strange coins. As for No Land Beyond, I don't need any more guns (full vault) and this certainly isn't a must have.

1 ReplyBecause the no land beyond is not very good there was no engram and no heavy synth and upgrades shouldn't be a reason xur was good because not every one has the guns to begin with besides there's not a lot of exotics so there's a high chance he will sell the upgrade the next week unlike individually selling them for coins

Heavy ammo synths should be there every week for sure. Engram doesn't have to be a must and his upgrade inventory has looked quite good since the introduction of it. Everyone's just salty.

GHorn 2.0 was a nice present. The lack of engram sucks, but next week I'll just double-up my purchases - no biggie. Lastly, I don't use heavy synthesis because I don't find myself needing to spam my heavy. I use what I've got, then switch to Ice Breaker to finish the boss off.

Exotic armour on my characters are already 2.0 and other than Hawkmoon I have no other weapons that were on his upgrade list. And no ammo synth. Pretty lame overall.

If you are the kind of player who enjoys doing the Nightfall with the Khvostov, this one's for you. I've been waiting for 3 weeks for upgrades on most bounty guns. Invective, Pocket Infinity and Bad Juju need love too.

I enjoyed being able to upgrade my Gjallarhorn to higher damage... Even if it means re leveling.

I like it for the hawkmoon upgrade and the armentarian. I agree I liked it, just didn't but the exotic this week cause I keep hearing it is atrocious.

8 RepliesXur has the worst random roll on items. Whoever did this coding is god damn awful. I remember a time when sunbreakers came for like 4 weeks straight. Armentarium is not to far behind either.

There are only two items in the entire game I'm playing for at the moment, the CE chest piece which I will most likely get tomorrow and Gjallahorn. Xur did not sell me the horn.

Because I got NLB from the first chest this week lol Otherwise I'm stoked re rerolled my Mida last week and this week I re rolled my Suros and inmost light would have done the same with my thunderlord but have the flu so......dying :/

Well i was happy 'cause I finally could upgrade my gjhorn and hawkmoon (which was my first exotic weapon)... No land beyond is tricky to use but I do like it and can be fun... I upgraded my red death and Titan helmet too.... Bad things: No engram No heavy = more coins/ light for next week :)

7 RepliesBe sides ghorn and suros his upgrades were lackluster. I do love heavy synthesis but every other week is fine. I personally would like to see more hunter helmets. New/old whatever as long as it's upgraded. I miss my knucklehead radar
