I can't even fathom how inept you have to be to get such a terrible k/d ratio. I've lost my last 6 games in a row because of this shit.

21 RepliesGet out of here with that shit. Don't tell people to stop playing. If your kdr is that high but your teammates keep dying its because your playing team games and obviously not helping your teammates. I'll give you some advice, not to help your dkr but to help you win... Stick with your teammates. Assist go a long way. Anyone who puts damage into an enemy that gets killed recieves at least 50 points for an assist. It adds up to a lot over time. Even if your teammates are bad, instead of them getting into 1v1 situations, if you had their back it would be 2v1 and they would probably survive.(and get that assist) These are obvious things you can do if you want to focus on winning as opposed to getting kills. Also don't be a dick.

8 RepliesI get a 1.5 kd against same level players but because I'm level 5 most matches are impossible to get a kill because I'm against level 30s so i have .52 kd overall

Well, when I get killed 5 straight times by someone's super, and think to myself, "this is it. There's no way I die by a super again." Then BAM I get killed by a warlock using his friggin nova thing. It's possible.

Edited by TheArtist: 12/28/2014 10:47:30 PMActually its much eaiser than you think. In fact you don't even have to be that bad of a player. Just someone who doesn't know the maps...and is just learning how Destiny's Crucible is different than other competitive shooters. I racked up a round with a 0.09 (one kill, eleven deaths) during my first Iron Banner. I jumped in to try to earn IB gauntlets so I could get off the VoG raid armor merry-go-round. So I got thrown in with some of the best players, under the hardest conditions...and didn't know any of the maps that well. Since I hadn't played the Crucible since few rounds I needed to fill the Bad Juju bounty. While going up against many players who had been playing those maps since the alpha back in June. Add to that getting stuck with a bad team that doesn't play together....and going up against one that played as cohesive unit.... ...and weaker players start dying like flies. Because they are constantly stumbling into ambushes because they don't know the maps well, and constantly find themselves out-numbered in gun fights. NOBODY is going to have a good KD if they are constantly outnumbered 2, 3, or even 4 to 1 in every gunfight. Which can happen a LOT in Control matches if you're on a bad team, and going up against a really good one. Which is why I roll my eyes every time someone wants to tell me about their KD ratio...and say nothing about how they play as a team. Because "better players" who run off and ignore their team mates looking to pad their own kill numbers, play a role in someone getting used for target practice like that. Especially in Control matches. Anyway, I took my lumps like a man and got better, and earned the gear. Plus eventually all the exotic weapons whose bounties have PvP requirements. But the fact that many things that predominantly PvE players want in this game require them to play in the Crucible, you're going to see those players get hammered initially. So you've got two choices. Complain about it. Or be more team-focused in your play. So any weaker players on your team has a stronger player as a wingman.

Lost two Clash battles by only a couple hundred points. Game ended with me 2700+ points, hunter bro at 2200+ and everyone else below 1000... It happens man. Leave lobby, rejoin different matchmaking.

easy, helping friends with exotic bounties

1 ReplyIf you want a strong team maybe you should stop being a dick and make some friends.

Haha I once saw one dude die constantly. He went 1 and 20. Cost my entire team the game. I just think most people just suck at crucible. Real players>AI.

1 ReplyEdited by Apex of War: 12/29/2014 2:42:50 AMThis is the worst I've ever seen. This dude got 48 kills with a great kdr, still lost...It's mind boggling how bad 5 others can be on your team. Note: I was on the winning team which is why the screenshot of my history says 'Victory'. Poor bastard lol.
