For real, it's pretty annoying having a New Monarchy shader, but feeling like I have to use Thunderdevil, because it looks stupid with Ruin Wings - and I love Ruin Wings.
In fact, if in the Beta there was this perk for Exotic Armours, why is this not here now, why can't we fully customize the colours of our guardians, instead of being forced to pick a color if we choose to wear Exotics...

If DeeJ chooses to answer (or another Bungie mod) - is there plans for the future or an upcoming hotfix that will add a shading option like pictured above from the BETA? Or is it a lost cause.

2 RepliesSome exotics are colourable. Some. And of those some, most have portions that you can colour. Like Armamentarium. Most of it is changeable save the green camp portion.

1 ReplyThis was a major oversight by the developers (although there are plenty of others too). The very first week the game was released every Titan figured it out, because we bought those damn 'No Backup Plans' and then realized very quickly that no shader would EVER match armor that ridiculous. I just can't believe some of the stuff Bungie thought was acceptable for release. You would think they never played a game before. They seriously could have sat down and copied half of what Diablo 3 did (in game grimoire, proper shading, better matchmaking, etc) and this would be the best game ever made. Makes me sad.

1 ReplyI have the gold/ white shader from the iron banner. It looks awesome. However, whenever I use the saint 14 helm I feel like I HAVE to use thunderdevil. Why can't I shade this stuff? It's stupid.

2 RepliesRuin wings does change color. The leaves stay silver but the under color changes. Pretty bad ass if you ask me

2 RepliesOmg. Obsidian mind looks horrific with most of the shaders so I agree! I want to match damnit! Go look at my guardian. Lol

I use thunderdevil for the same reason!

The claws of Akablablabla for warlocks don't change colors any bit. :/ Shame, though it does match the sunset and midday shader from Eris. But I noticed even with other colored shaders, they don't change any. I compared them with the Apothiosis veil and even that changed a little. So what's up with these not matching? o.O I'm not furious, but curious as to why?

3 RepliesKnucklehead's Radar is affected? Thought it wasn't...thought it's always the annoying Gray that doesn't quite match up to anything... That said, if more Exotic Armors worked with shaders, I'd happily use my Titan a lot more. Damned Armamentarium...

4 RepliesMy symbiote helm is shaded.

3 RepliesIt would be nice....I would probably wear the Glasshouse helm more often if we could change the color. Damnthat SOB IS ugly as hell! They could have made it darker neon blue at least - I would call it my Tron Helm if that was the case.

1 ReplyThe weird thing is that some exotics are affected by the shader. For instance, the Symbiote helmet. Third Eye man is however not affected.
