PSN issues still persist.. PS4 users be able to access Xur if not resolved by Sunday reset?
The way things have been going it doesn't seem likely that we will be able to get back on the PSN in MOST regions of the world any time soon.
With that in mind... Xur is only around Friday and Saturday.. Here we are Friday morning and no PSN..
So now the question goes out Deej, Are we going to suffer because the PSN can't handle a group of DDoS sending losers?
Or will there be access to Xur extended due to our inability to log on to your service via the PSN?

1 ReplyBeen playing games on PC today from my steam backlog. Xur has nothing I want this week anyway. By playing other games I'm really feeling destiny is getting pointless at this point with very little new content in the "expansion".

I must be lucky because Ive been able to get on and play each day psn has been down. Took a few login attempts but it ended up working just fine.

6 RepliesI'm on PS4 and got lucky enough to log on with a tip from an awesome guardian that suggested changing the MTU to 1473 rather than 1500 in your connection settings. I got my upgrades and everything. Will grind out to get upgraded gear for my Titan if possible this afternoon. For those that can't get on, I wish you the best of luck. I don't foresee Bungie doing anything to compensate for this...

I managed to get in last night and upgrade my Hawkmoon. I didn't upgrade Gjallarhorn because I didn't have enough glimmer. If I am unable to get back in to get Gjallarhorn, I know that I made the right choice between the two.

PSN can't handle? Did you guys already forget that the XBL also went down. And that was meant to be impervious to network issues. If the largest software developer in the world can't protect against DDoS then who can? Answer no one.

I was able to connect around 2 pm and got the upgraded helm and completed a few bounties. Things were running slow though. I jumped off for about an hour and went to sign in and it's been down ever since.
