Hello guardians and my new Christmas-noob-guardians, I am writing this post to help you level up your exotics that you get during your time in destiny. I see a lot of people complaining about how long and hard they grind for their weapons. It is honestly not that difficult and should take that long. In a few hours, I can show you how to your weapon to the max level as fast as possible while avoiding the absolute grind that is destiny. It does help that before you start any of this, you join a faction. This is so that all bounty experience goes to one place instead of two separate places. This will help get your rank up quicker and in turn leave more packages with the post master. More packages means more free stuff and free engrams. Prior to joining a faction your vanguard rank should be level 3 because currently factions only take crucible marks. Meaning the vanguard marks will be useless because you won't be able to spend them because of your low rank. Anyway onto the guide. [b]A DESTINY'S WEAPON/ARMOR LEVELING GUIDE - TELEMETRY 101[/b] [u][b][i]First[/i][/b][/u] Complete all bounties on all your characters but [b][i]DO NOT TURN THEM IN[/i][/b]. Fill up your inventory with completed bounties and let them sit there till later. [u][b][i]Second[/i][/b][/u] [b][i]BUY TELEMETRY'S FROM XUR!!! [/i][/b]. He comes on the weekends and sells this item for strange coins (something that you can get by doing the weekly heroic, decoding engrams, or doing public events) This consumable boosts the amount of EXP that you get when leveling up your weapon. So make sure to grab about 10 of them. I think he sells 5 for 1 coin or something like that. [b][i][u]Third: 2 parts![/u] [/i][/b] This is the most important step to get something to the max level as fast as possible. [b][i]DO THE NIGHTFALL STRIKE[/i][/b]. This event boosts all EXP gains on your character for one week and also gives you legendary, ascendant, and exotic loot drops. [b]WHEN THE NIGHTFALL IS JUST ABOUT OVER, USE A TELEMETRY!!![/b]. The experience boost that you get from the nightfall and telemetry is insane! PS: don't forget to actually equip what you want to level up. Or you just wasted a huge exp boost on the wrong thing. PSS: [b][i]you can use more than one weapon telemetry at once[/i][/b]. For example, I was using a scout rifle, fusion rifle, and rocket telemetry all at the same time. [u][b][i]Fourth[/i][/b][/u] [b][i] GO TO THE TOWER AND TURN IN ALLTHE BOUNTIES! [/i][/b]. If done correctly all this EXP will take you up a couple of upgrade nodes. Turning in all these bounties at once will also grant you the chance at an exotic bounty! [b][i][u]Fifth (optional)[/u] [/i][/b] [b][i]Run the daily or weekly heroic.[/i][/b] if you can do it quick, run these missions. You have 30ish minutes to do so. If you are not skilled enough or struggling with the missions, skip this step or run out your time with vanguard/crucible. [b][i][u]Sixth[/u][/i][/b] [b][i]TRANSFER ALL THE WEAPONS AND TELEMETRIES INTO THE VAULT AT THE TOWER[/i][/b] so that you can repeat this with another character. Rinse and repeat till you run out of bounties/characters. [b][i][u]My Story[/u][/i][/b] By doing this process today, I took a non- upgraded gjallahorn, vision of confluence and promethian foil up to the the last upgrade tree in a matter of minutes! Also, by turning in these bounties, I got 3 exotic bounties! 1 for each of my characters! I feel like no one is utilizing this item correctly. [b][u]GET TO IT!!! [/u][/b] [b][i][u]Edit 1[/u][/i][/b] I have tested no telemetries versus telemetries between the 2 of the gjallahorns that I own. I saw no significant difference in either method. For the sake of this argument, and since there has been no evidence as to how telemetries work from Bungie, I am leaving it in this post until proven otherwise.
