...over a weekend.
Where Xur sells Gjallarhorn.
Edit: to clarify - I'm mainly addressing the Crota kneel cheat, and people trying to justify not banning for it based on the apparent (but unverified) large number of people having done it.
This way, they'd feel the punishment, and those not having done it, would be rewarded.

LOL GO AHEAD, I already have the g horn and am a cheesing enthusiast as I believe in a simple principle called EFFICIENCY b*tches. Why put yourself at the mercy of Bungie and Instant health regen/various other bugs when you can complete it with a sure fire method? It's not any more fun to get bugged to death over and over during the fight, it makes people angry and disbands groups! I myself have beat it more legit than cheesing but cheesing causes much less strife so go on and do it. No reason not to! (To anti-cheesers: Happy Hanukkah you f*cking greedy selfish jews, go back to Israel or some sh*t.)

1 Reply1st let the ppl have a holiday without having to do major updates. Next!!!!! Lol ban, you must be a f"""ing joke. First why would they ban anyone when it's almost impossible to play a raid with out half the team being kicked due to some dumb error code that 100% BS. My fav is that I am using a cellular network. If that is what you call a fiber optic connection then wired from modem then I guess so. So no way to tell who did it. You can say it looks like he did but it could have been one of the 99,999,991 error codes that cause a person to leave. How about we ban all the cry baby's in the game that think cheering matters. Destiny already nerfs higher lvl ppl in PVP so we don't make you cry anymore than you do. And they will fix it before hard raid for sure. I hate cry baby's and wish I could punch u in the face along with lizard squad! You are what is wrong with the world today no balls and blames others for their shortcomings. Here is a thought, go play chess or something f"""tard.
-
Key word "unverified" so why even bother putting up a post making you look like a crybaby rat bitch. Pay me to play the game and I'll play it as you seem fit. Till then, let your balls drop and act like a man.

1 ReplyI think this stuff is rather impressive, to be honest. The community continues to surprise me with the ways/exploits/tricks they find to beat certain things in game. I would never come up with some of this stuff..so it's somewhat commendable to me. It also doesn't impact my game experience at all, so I could care less. If Bungie doesn't like it, they should fix their game..not get mad at the people sharp enough to find the game's flaws.
-
Glitch, lose all rewards until next reset...
-
8 RepliesIf they didn't ban people for pushing atheon and templar... What makes you think crota kneeling is a banning offense? It won't happen. People will continue to find different ways to beat destiny challenges... If Bungie deems them to be a problem they'll patch the game not ban users for exploiting a bug. Especially when it is not ruining anyone else's gaming experience.
-
1 ReplyNah console ban then that'll teach those cheeses make then buy a new console and start again.
-
4 RepliesCrota is easier to kill legit than to cheese, anyone who thinks cheesers should be banned for any period of time are absolute morons. You are not better than anyone for not cheesing him, its actually one of the easiest boss fights ever.
-
3 RepliesSo what your saying is is you cheese the first chest, the bridge, the second chest, and skip the wizards but you don't want to be banned so only ban the crota cheesers? Sounds about right.
-
Nah bungie should just fix it but they never truly fix anything.. just break something else then never fix what they broke
-
Can they identify intentional disconnection to actually error? Therein lies the problem. They're not monitoring everyone's screens to see if they are 'cheesing' crota. They can't ban the thousands that have done it because they would lose out masses. They just need to patch it... Some how. There's a 'timer' on him of sorts, obviously, but it messes with it when someone leaves/disconnects. But as the servers aren't perfect from faults, bungie can't ban because on the off-chance it was accidental. Then ban them? It's not their fault they got 'lucky' and he stayed knelt. The real reason people moan about cheesers is because they can't do the raid themselves and wish they could get the rewards too. That's the bottom line. It's pure jealousy. How about, become a capable player and maybe others that are capable will assist you and you will succeed... One day =)

3 RepliesIt's Bungie's fault for not fixing it. Seriously, I've done Crota legitimately more than I have cheesed him. I don't want to waste the time of killing him legitimately, again, when I could just cheese him and be done with it.
-
7 RepliesIts not messing with the connection. It is quitting the game. Regardless of whether or not it glitches him, it is only quitting out of the game. Which is not technically punishable by terms of agreement. Bungie cannot do anything except patch it
-
1 ReplyAnd what you are a level 30 with no other accounts near that level. How about you at least try and play game before you post dumb stuff. Another person that sucks at game(and life) trying to blame ppl for cheese the end but not the chests or the first part or the bridge. You wouldn't even make it past the second light with out someone to help you.
-
2 RepliesOr you let them play but only to see xurs inventory. Then when they go to buy it is says 'sorry this privilege has been removed.' Or something like that.
-
2 RepliesI think when hard mode comes out that may not be possible and will be pretty nuts if they do what we think may happen. Sword carrier gets a buffer and cannot pick up sword again. So you will need three people to be able to use the sword.
-
it will eventually be patched leaving all the "cheesers" to be completely lost. Just like when they patched templar and no one knew how to beat him legit. lol. I say let everyone play the way they want, their punishment will come in the form of never knowing how to beat the raid once its patched
-
1 ReplyDon't think they should be banned. Let bungie fix the problem. The issue that I have is that it takes forever to find a group. Then the group either skips parts to work the glitch where I leave because I want to play the whole mission through. It is annoying, not because they are glitching but that I need to find a group again. But I don't think it should affect the players. Let them play how they want, and you do the same on your end.
-
...so never.
-
2 RepliesSounds like you want a hand out.
-
3 RepliesYou should be banned from life for this unintelligent post.
-
3 RepliesOR, here's a crazy idea: they could just fix the cheese instead of banning half their hardcore playerbase. I have cheesed Crota. There, I said it. I also beat him legit less than 2 days after the raid came out. Just because I cheesed him does not mean I think that it shouldn't be fixed. It absolutely should be.
-
2 RepliesWhy should you be rewarded for not cheating? Isn't doing the right thing it's own reward?
-
5 RepliesShut up. Not going to happen. Remember Atheon?
-
1 ReplySet up an RNG system to decide their fate lol. Here could be some of the options: 1. Remove all 3 characters 2. Ban for 30 days 3. Remove legendary and exotic rewards from everything for 3 weeks 4. Disable raiding all together 5. Remove highest level character or one with the highest quality gear 6. Warning but add a 0.1% rate

These a better way to cheese him ... Have the oversoul kill him ... I am on another level of cheesing
