What is so special about Gjallarhorn?

2 RepliesWeapon is phenomenal in every way possible. Best dps in game. Having said that I personally prefer running hunger of crota to free up the exotic spot for ice breaker. But like a lot of people are saying, get one and you'll know.

I have dragons breath.. okay only cool thing about it is the smoke trail it leaves behind while running.. In my opinion there isn't a better weapon than the Vex-Mythoclast Its just awesom you can take if every enemie class ingame with a few shots its realy cool but its problem is the reload speed.... in my opinion the ghorn isn't good as this....

Truth is decent but has it's drawbacks. All I'm gonna say is wolfpack

Well... Dragon's breath has not tracking and little velocity. Truth has aggressive tracking which will sometimes hit a wall instead of going around. Don't get me wrong, truth is another amazing rocket, but I still lean to the Gjallahorn. It has tracking, amazing velocity and a pretty big blast radius, as well as cluster bombs that track and attack.

6 RepliesIv'e been playing destiny since mid september and haven't gotten the chance to loot the g-horn...then I read this topic with someone who has it and bearly knows what it is. If destiny keeps playing this way with their stupid RNG system I will throw the game out of my window. Even in PvP I've seen somebody whos team loses and makes 1 kill, just one miserable kill during the whole game...guess what? He got the Ice Breaker....

They travel to the targets when you aim on them before you shoot. Also, the Gjallarhorn when it hits the target breaks into multiple particles that do more damage than a grenade.
