Attack x impact = dmg
In crucible they just don't use attack
If vex had 600 attack, it would do nearly 2x dmg
Your light(level) affects the dmg you deal to higher level enemies

Edited by benjambement: 12/26/2014 11:55:59 AMI'm pretty sure that's wrong. To do maximum damage (for your Light Level) against an enemy of Level 30, you need a gun with 300 attack. To do maximum damage (for your Light Level) against an enemy of Level 31, you need a gun with 310 attack. Having a gun of 400 damage would do maximum damage against an enemy of Level 40, but an enemy of Level 31 would receive the same amount of damage as if your gun was 310 attack.
